I’m not sure about anyone else, but I have 4 Walmart’s within driving distance of me and 3 of them have had empty pegs for a little over 3 months now. I’ve spoke with a few people over on my IG page and they’re having the same issues. I’m just curious if this is a statewide issue or not.

It's a nation wide issue and has been for most of the last 4-5 years

It’s almost if not completely state wide, it truly is a rare to find figures at Walmart for years now.

And yet the people at Mattel make it seem like it’s not a problem.

I have 5 Walmart’s within a half hour of me and they all have nothing but AEW belts. One of them finally got E82 last week where I was able to grab a Keith Lee chase and a John Morrison.

I think back in 2019(?) empty displays from Spring to Summer. It wasn’t until June when I saw E68. Summer restock happened then it was dead again till the Fall.
This year I saw E81 once at Wally & since then they haven’t restocked any elites.

The two Walmarts closest to my apt are always empty (usually just the championship belts/maybe a few basics), but I don't have a car so I only get to them a couple times a month. Most of the other Walmarts I've stopped at have been pretty much the same (with an additional couple of elites here and there).
I've never seen a WWE section even half stocked at Walmart over the past 5 yrs when they actually do have product. This past Nov/Dec, I was able to travel to a lot of different Walmarts and they were all completely empty.

I don’t even try anymore. Anywhere. I never find anything and it’s not fun so I just order off ringside or I just save my money.

I can’t remember the last time I saw anything worth while at Walmart.
I think the last thing I found there was a Then, Now, Forever Tyler Breeze FTITL Elite. So we have to be talking like 4 years at least.

No more major toy retail stores so Walmart and Target own the market and they’re both terrible so I sort of quit years ago. If you’re gonna boast store exclusive figures, wouldn’t you actually try to at least carry said figures in the store?
For me, it’s not just an issue with Walmart but an issue with the hobby.

Who knew Vacant would be more of a pegwarmer than Tito??? Vacant is the only figure my Walmart ever seems to have in stock. I mean, it makes sense though. They're the most decorated champion of all time, they have to keep them around!

I recently went to a walmart at 6am. When i got to the toy isle, i noticed an employee stocking. i saw a box that said Mattel WWE Elite figures. the box was empty. and so were the pegs, i asked the guy, he just shrugged his shoulders. as i made my way around the store, i noticed a guy talking to an employee, his cart had the entire box in it. I heard him say something like "glad i have you guys texting me when this stuff comes in" So i gather that is why the pegs are usually empty
