Sometime the clearance section at Walmart & Target have old/new stock. I’ve seen a good amount of figures here & with the mark down price.

I don’t even have a Walmart near me anymore. When there was one like 6 years ago, the pegs were always empty and it was a nightmare to go to. You had to pay for parking too.

The problem is following toys r us closing there’s no real big chain toy stores in the states
As far as Walmart are concerned wrestling figures are a subline in action figures which is a sub line in toys, which is a subline in entertainment
Even before the pandemic they would focus on other products before action figures and the pandemic made this worse
Scott neitlich’s video explains it well. The toys which sell best in Walmart etc are those around the $5 mark which they give as a reward etc or to keep kids quiet shopping etc

Walmart gonna walmart, Number 1 action figure line that doesn't exist at walmart, other than a few Basics rotting on the shelves that not even the Ants or maggots would wanna feast on, AEW figures at a complete myth, The History Pickers trying to find a vintage 1940's old useless rusty gross nasty bucket that looks like something that would be in Bastion Boogers toilet channel can give Jesse Ventura his Conspiracy show back so he can make some quick cold hard cash- i mean so he can cover this theory about the mythical AEW unrivaled, and a special episode about the Playastation 5
Followed by a Encore of "Jesse "The Body" Ventura's conspiracy theories" episode about AEW unrivaled where he goes on eBay to find them, and then talks about aliens for 50 minutes, then followed by a Brand spankin new episode of "Pawn Stars" where a man finds an Elite series 34 Hulk Hogan and everyone in the Pawn Shop starts a bidding war

I remember when people used to defend empty shelves at the beginning of the year saying it’s reset season and how it happens every year, now you don’t even have that because it’s empty shelves all year long and it’s not even just the wwe line.

Walking into Walmart looking for figures reminds me of playing the lottery. High hopes and constant disappointment. This is so true....the last figure I found at the one closest to me was the collector edition Undertaker about 2 or so months ago....now what’s really bad is that there were empty pegs for SO long before this that I literally stood there in shock & awe for a few seconds because they actually had a figure.....they had 14 after I bought mine, went back 2 days later & the pegs were empty again & have been ever since |

My Walmart hasn’t seen anything since the summerslam elite set came out in the Christmas shipper. We have about 6 fin basics and that’s it.

My issue with Walmart is them never having their exclusive lines available online except by 2nd and 3rd party websites.....for 3-4 times retail....absolutely ridiculous.

I know everyone will be jealous but my Walmart actually had elites last night, oh yeah! They had two each of The Rock and Mae Young! Oh yeah!
I'm never going to see Kama at this rate.

Target on the other hand.... Outside of shippers, my Walmart has been skipping sets. And I'm going to assume that much like the last two years the Summerslam wave will assault all the stores near me. I've already seen people reporting finding Kama on facebook. So imagine between now and Augustish my Walmart will get that one case of 85 with Kama before getting hit with 86. Edit- I double checked, the few posted on Facebook are just showing them having it but not saying they found it in stores. They are in hand pictures though. |
