I believe in the past its been said bloody face sculpts is a no-no, but whats the story behind this? Is this a WWE thing? The fact Mattel are doing a jurassic park figure with a bloody severed arm has me curious.

The head honchos in the WWE division have always seemed to be very PG. It doesnt really make sense they wont make bloody figures but they would make zombie figures that have their bodies torn open....One of the many things Mattel says & does to contradict themselves.
Personally Im not a fan of bloody figures in general.

Personally Im not a fan of bloody figures in general. Bloody figures are only good if executed well with the just the right amount of paint splattered on. I don’t know if you collect Storm’s Mortal Kombat line, but the bloody figures are great!

Definitely gotta be WWE's decision to not want it. Nothing Mattel can do about it if WWE says no.

Figures with a second bloody head would be good. Like Austin from wm13 as an example.

I’d imagine that it’s a combination of both WWE and Mattel.

It will never happen with Mattel This is why I'm believing Mattel isn't the reason for it.

If you can’t figure out the difference between WWE & Jurassic Park that’s on you; WWE doesn’t want blood, and Mattel has different limits with JP than wrestling. Mattel said no barbed wire ever, even though WWE has very occasionally used barbed wire since 2010

Ever since WWE went full PG twelve years ago, the only time blood appears on their program is accidentally, the hard way. Every once in a while they will use fake blood for a storyline, but blading is no longer used. So it makes sense that they will no longer have blood featured in their toy line either. So it seems to just be a WWE thing, not Mattel. Before WWE went PG, Jakks used to put out bloody figures all the time. Sadly, blood in WWE is just something they want to distance themselves from completely.

Mattel never even got Michaels’ facial hair right. With bloody figures I’d be afraid they’d end up looking like the Legends of Wrestling figures from 15 years ago where every guy had a bloody variant, but the blood was literally all over the body like they’d been beaten with a barbed wire bat until they were dead.

So apparently WWE is a different brand than the one where dinosaurs eat people. Who knew?

When did Jakks release bloody figures? 1 of 100 terry funk And that’s it. They didn’t make them “all the time”
