Is this going to be a viable line for tag teams/ talent in general? It seems like these are geared towards championship matches and randomly putting tag teams or opponents wether they’ve been champs or not seems unlikely examples like retribution and the mysterios

Guys like Retribution probably will just be thrown in the regular basic line. Showdown is a set recreating championship match ups.

I'll be surprised if the Showdown packs continue next year. They seem to be selling as well as the old 2-packs, but I can't imagine the belt is selling. Walmart and Target don't carry them in store(at least not in my area) and at $49.99, I don't know how many are being sold online.

It'll probably go back to what battle packs was at some point. Needing to make each set based off a title match will likely run its course.

See, it would help if they released tag teams from tag team championship matches in the line too.

See, it would help if they released tag teams from tag team championship matches in the line too. If they want to keep the "vs" thing alive instead of just a tag team together, make one pack Kofi vs. Jey Uso and the other Big E vs. Jimmy Uso in the same series for example.

Very confusing line for me. They do excellent ones like Rock/HHH, Flair/Giant, Fiend/Bryan etc... but then awful ones like Kane/Edge. The deco hits are all over the place. The Kane in that set looks like a knock off. No detail on his tights at all apart from the red parts. The AJ in the upcoming set with Riddle looks bare bones as well. If they can get the attire details more accurate that would be great.

That's a good idea 👌 Ya solid point, that’s what I’m saying though like would we ever get an uso cause having 2 basic spots in a series for usos makes zero sense same with new day those could be sports for female talent with absolutely no deco or likeness haha

In an ideal world, one series would have the Hardy’s, the Dudleys, and E&C each as a two pack to make up a TLC match. Although I know that isn’t going to happen/can’t happen.

I am very excited for the upcoming Kane and Stone Cold.
Anything that gets us another long sleeved Kane is a win.

Yeah I don’t get if we want to put 2 side plates on the title belt any we’re supposed to buy 2 of one single pack. At least put two sideplates per character in Each pack or something. No ones gonna gonout of their way to buy two of each pack just for the side plate completion

They should make the side plates 2 sided. So that way if you had the belt you could put 2 in for a single wrestler. I've actually enjoyed the line and gotten some decent figures out of it. The Triple H is great as is Flair and I like Taker too. I look forward to the upcoming Bulldog/Bossman pack. So I'm actually enjoying the line.

I still haven’t seen the belt at retail so what’s the point of them anyways? Just a more constrictive 2pack line.

just further made it easier for me to stop collecting basics entirely to be honest.
