Great year-long feud that helped make Orton into a star. Which match was your favorite? The original takes it for me, their battle at WrestleMania 21; I really thought at some points Orton might end the streak. Hell in a Cell is a close second.

WM 21.
Boy I do remember that feeling Orton would end the Streak, coming off of Taker's Tombstone DVD release.

WM21.
I didn't feel as strongly as others that Orton might end the streak? But it was a great encounter.

That WrestleMania 21 match really fleshed Orton out; and that program really helped rebound Orton from the botched face/world title run. I use to watch WrestleMania 21 nonestop as a kid; my brother had it on DVD; and I remember just being blown away from that Mania. So I saw all of it in retrospect; I use to watch it all the time in the Summer of 2008. I don't remember Summer Slam to much; but I enjoyed HIC match. I am shocked we never saw them resume a program in the later years of the RA/PG Era. I guess we didn't really need a resume program; but It would be cool to see a more matured Orton face Undertaker.

WrestleMania 21 by a mile for me, it was the first time that I felt like the streak could actually end. Orton also looked like a million bucks during this run and while I have soured on him greatly over the last 10 years, back then I think if anyone was going to beat the streak, I probably would have been cool with it being him. In hindsight since they pissed the streak away for those five minutes of shock value, I really wish they had just had Orton end it here as I think it would have meant far more.

I would go...
Armageddon SummerSlam No Mercy
in that order after Wrestlemania 21

WM21. I enjoyed all of their encounters outside HIAC. WM21 gave the impression Orton would break the streak at one point.
There HIAC encounter was solid but no moments really stood out to me like past HIAC matches did. It didn’t help that I feel HHH and Batista put on a more memorable HIAC match earlier that year either.

WM 21- so well built and the match delivered and was full of drama. My second favorite WM 21 match behind of course HBK vs Angle.
