All of the sudden in my MLB 2K7 I am having all kinds of trouble hitting. I am using the swing stick and not doing anything different from what I have done in the past. I usually put up 10+ runs and now I am averaging like 3. I constantly strike out and can barely ever make good contact with the ball. I dont understand what has happened? Could something have been modified in the difficulty levels that I am unaware of?

Maybe your hitters are tired....I've also noticed that in games, just like in real life, my players will go through "slumps" where I can't buy a hit, and then they will go through hot periods like where I hit a home run with Abreu like 4 at bats in a row. Or maybe you are just facing good pitching? I can't usually beat Schilling, Beckett and Wakefield, but I kill people like Jaret Wright, lol.

I don't use the "swing stick" because I'm a lazy bum...
But it could have to do with a lot of things. You know the "Inside Edge" things? I think the computer can buy those as well. That tells them your hitters' tendencies and the pitches that work best against them.
For example, I'm AWFUL at hitting curve balls in that game, but I can destroy fastballs. The first time I played against Josh Beckett, he threw like 80% fast balls. The second time I faced him, he threw about 20% more curve balls.

I have played all divisional opponents with pitchers I have already faced several times and have destroyed. I have the fatigue off......so that cant be it. All I know is I am getting killed. Is there anything I can increase, turn down or something to get myself batting well again. Its no fun, even if I win 1-0.
