Wtf is going on with this figure? 2 sellers out of California have cornered the market at are generating a near 90 dollar sale every few hours...how is it some scalpers get mountains of what is to be a Walmart exclusive? Something fishy is going on here...

I was at my buddy's toy shop out of California and he had one Kama Elite 85 mint in box marked for 90 bucks. As we were talking some guy asked if he could see so my buddy says sure and hands him the box, while that guy is looking at the figure another dude walks up and says I will give you 110 for it as the other guy was still checking the figure out LOL So the other guys says I will give you 115 lol and all of a sund a bidding war breaks out, long story short the dude that walked in bought the figure for 180 bucks! lol
It's not even that nuts though. The two day average on eBay is under $60 for the figure right now, and as E85 starts showing up further and further east, it'll probably come down significantly.

I went to Wal-Mart on the hunt for the Wal-Mart Exclusive Collectors Edition Kama (I already have 1 from ebay but I wanted to find one for the thrill of the hunt) and I saw a guy stocking the wrestling figures. I took a chance and asked the guy if the Mattel boxes he was stocking had any of the Wal-Mart Exclusive Collectors Edition Kama. The guy screamed at me and said "look, I'm tired of hearing about this Wal-Mart Exclusive Collectors Edition Kama toy, if it's not on the shelves we don't have it yet". I was stunned at his rude response but having worked for Wal-Mart myself in the past just chalked it up to him having a bad day. Anywho, any of you guys had similar experiences asking Wal-Mart employees about their upcoming exclusives? |

I just wish RSC would tell us why they stopped getting them. Other online vendors seem to have no problem getting the exclusives.

I was under the impression that basically Target and Wal-mart said they did not want their exclusives sold elsewhere in the US. Which is understandable - the point of the exclusives is to get people into their store to also get toothpaste, a new pair of socks, and the newest movie on blu-ray while they are there. |

Another U.S. site had Vega for pre order last week and those 2 guys from California have unlimited Kamas.I'm sure Troy from Texas will have Kama and Vega soon as well as he has gotten an abundance of all the others.
