Is this the new thing here? Why even go to ebay searching for a new figure unless you are either planning on feeding the scalpers or you’re trying to get people to view/bid on them? It was the Race figure a few days ago. Kross yesterday or the day before. Now Kama. Who cares what the scalpers are doing? And why constantly bring attention to them? If I didn’t want a figure enough to preorder it or I can’t find it on the pegs then I just won’t add it to my collection. But I am not going to feed a scalpers or even draw attention to them.

So I just went to Target and there was an associate stocking toys in the aisle and I said excuse me sir, do you happen to have any wrestling figures specifically a Kama figure. He immediately grabbed me by the collar and slammed me against the wall and said, I’m so damn tired of you people coming in here and asking about these Kama figures. You aren’t even suppose to know about these things, in retail we have all been colluding against any of the Kama figures hitting the shelves and we have been selling them on the internet for hundreds of dollars!

I was at my buddy's toy shop out of California and he had one Kama Elite 85 mint in box marked for 90 bucks. As we were talking some guy asked if he could see so my buddy says sure and hands him the box, while that guy is looking at the figure another dude walks up and says I will give you 110 for it as the other guy was still checking the figure out LOL So the other guys says I will give you 115 lol and all of a sund a bidding war breaks out, long story short the dude that walked in bought the figure for 180 bucks! lol It's not even that nuts though. The two day average on eBay is under $60 for the figure right now, and as E85 starts showing up further and further east, it'll probably come down significantly. I’ve heard this story before except it was with a hogan figure Speaking of Hogan, I was at Target the other day and I asked an employee if they had any Hollywood Hogans and he said, “Look, I’m tired of hearing about this Hollywood Hogan figure. If it’s not on the shelves, then we don’t have it.” Anyone else have this same experience? |

I saw some dude had a box of 20 zelina vega figures on ebay. So there is some fishy crap going on.
Here is the thing, Mattel does not care. So unless ringside gets some of these exclusives I am sol.
Toysrus canada stores where getting whole cases of e69 exclusives. Ebay sellers where getting tons of e82 Bulldogs. The world is upside down.

He might be talking about the multiple instances of impromptu, retail store bidding wars and retail employees at their complete wits end with the deluge of collectors of all walks looking for the elusive Ultimate Hollywood Hogan figure which are just both weird coincidences. |

The only thing worse than scalpers is people moaning yet buying figures from them. Supply and demand. If people Stopped feeding the scalpers they’d go hunt elsewhere for food. |

He and another person ordered enough to make it worth using a forwarding service to get it to America. One guy cut his losses and sold his entire lot while the other guy put them on eBay and in raffles. No one wanted it in raffles and the eBay listings fell from $100 to $60. I'm sure the one person has already lined up Kama. |
