TNA basically fell apart when Hogan/Bischoff joined in 2010 and turned the company total around into something else.Going back to the 4 side ring, turning AJ Styles into a mini Ric Flair, bring in to many older talents and depushing or put the TNA homegrown talent to the side, making the move to Monday Nights when they weren't ready...ect
Really thought with the MEM angle and in the fall of '09 TNA was really at its peak.
As far as what I would have done I don't blame Dixie for bring in Hogan as he was a major name and the thought was he would bring them to the next level but just didn't work out.The main things I would have changed is doing whatever was possible to keep the major homegrown TNA talent from leaving to WWE in Styles,Storm,Roode,Joe..ect and also even with his issues at times Double J around. To mean the heart and soul of the company was Jeff Jarrett & AJ Styles once both where gone TNA was pretty much over.
But sides keep Double J and the major homegrown talent would have dialed back on all the bigger names that they had on their roster and guys 40 plus.I believe Paul Heyman had a similar idea if he was going to take over TNA before or after Hogan where he was going to keep only one or two guys that where over 40 and focus on the TNA homegrown guys and find even young guys out on the indies.

No Russo, no Carter, keep Cornette I think Russo and Carter have their place with the company, but I agree letting Cornette go was bad. Cornette to me was the most over authority figure and he was so great in the role. I miss him on TNA like crazy.

1) team with NJPW 2) use popularity of bullet club when it was in it's prime 3) have okada/aj series where it occurs in both Japan and Impact rings 4) cycle in less of the old talent, make guys like Sabin/Daniels/AJ/Joe your top guys, keep the connection to smash wrestling and have young cheap talent to influx and produce.

Just be an alternative instead of trying to be the Wwe and obsess over what they were doing. They didn’t always do that and they’re not doing it now.

TNA was at their peak for sure in the early/mid 2000's especially around The Dudley's and Angle came. Once they brought over older and past their prime talent is when the major decline occurred. I would include Bischoff, Cornette and Russo in that group too. I felt that if they stayed the course that were on that in time they would have been the solid number two company in the country. Ultimately, the drowned their up and coming talent to give the spotlight to the bigger names. I worry that AEW is beginning to do the same and are signing way to many released WWE wrestlers.

People at the time were saying the move would kill the company, but it's still here.
