Yeah I read that min. 10 million number somewhere else as well. Good chunk of change for making the move. Normally just hearing something from Dave AEW related is usually pretty reliable, but that changed about 4 or 5 days ago when he royally pissed off Amanda Huber. I dunno how many people in the company are gonna be ok talking to him at the moment. I suspect he's persona non-grata in that locker room right now. Likewise that's why I'm not taking it as concrete that it will stay the TNT title. Unless I'm mistaken (and I could be) only Dave has confirmed it's staying the TNT title. A week ago that would have been enough for me. What did he do? So basically he brought Bruce Mitchell on (who had wrote the article accusing Amanda of covering up Brodie's cause of death) and they spent like a half hour talking about how Bruce was misunderstood, and Dave kept saying Bruce was vindicated now, etc. His subscribers were not too happy with this and many cancelled their subscriptions. Bryan had to be the first one to come right out and apologize despite not even knowing the show existed until it went up. Dave eventually offered an apology which was basically "sorry if you got offended" which Amanda then had to post about on her Instagram basically saying that's a bs apology and maybe he could have just contacted her. So given that anyone who would have info for Dave in the past is close with Amanda, I'm skeptical he's getting good information at this point until he fixed things with her. I could be wrong about that though. |

That’s big, everything today is more focused on content. If he can position himself creating several hours of original content that is viable, as he is doing now, their 2024 deal is gonna be very rewarding. They have been financially successful since their outset, they are doing a great job protecting the bottom line!!!! Gonna be here a long time. |

I wonder if the move will affect the amount of swearing that gets used? I'm very much a fan of the language. I hope there aren't any restrictions in place that are going to change it.
