I might have to buy that michaels. Looks great. P.s: Mattel should hire you man. You do a great job at selling these figures with your photos and poses. Thanks again for the great reviews!!! Edit: where did you buy the natural disasters figures. Trying to find the best deal hey thanks a bunch my dude! i have aspirations but there are guys in our community and on instagram that are miles ahead of anything i can do š
i got my natural disaster figure from ringside, i had them pre-ordered on EntertainmentEarth but they cancelled preorders stating mattel was not going to ship them anymore. coming in today with a FAMILY fridayMaivia Family LegacyHigh Chief Peter Maiviacoming in today is a FTITL Elite and as most have mentioned probably a one and done figure; High Chief Peter Maivia! i was pretty hype for the release of this pack, it was unique, original and provided us with a new Peter and Rock figure as well as an updated Rocky Johnson figure. so as it happens, High Chief was active pretty wel before my time so i can only compare accuracies to photos available. this High Chief comes to the ring wearing a neat samoan headdress, medallion, red ula fala, and a cool softgoods orange waistwrap with some samoan/polynesian designs printed throughout. the headdress is characterized by a big golden crown with some silver detailing and red leaves/pedals adorning the top. mattel did a great job capturing all of the fine details in the sculpting. the headsculpt on this figure loks great! the heqadsculpt captures the chief in a teeth bearing serious/determined expression and as i mentioned the sculpting favors his likeness quite well. i really like the sculpting details mattel included in his hair. mattel gave this high chief figure the Brock torso which based on pictures seems very appropriate for Peter maivia. Peter is sporting some traditional polynesian tattoos that start aong his waist and extend down his legs, mattel seems to have done a great job on color, placement and clarity. this figure was given some pink/fuschia colored trunks and once again just referencing pictures seems appropriate. finishing up this figure, mattel seem to have sculpted some thicker/beefier legs for him as he did wrestle without boots and we see some new sculpted feet on this guy. all in all i will admit i struggle to see a reason to ever buy this figure on its own, but its inclusion in this pack is perfect, also given the storylines playing out onscreen right now. the figure was done reaaly well despite potentially being a one and done, the body recipe is on point and the headsculpt holds a great likeness. great figure by mattel right here!

wrapping up the Maivia Family Legacy pack today with a Great One Sunday š Maivia Family LegacyThe Rockcoming in today is the shining gem of the pack, the GREAT ONE, The Rock! i was definitely the most excited for this figure in particular as i was a HUGE Rock fan growing up and this classic Rock nails those nostalgic looks. i had a VHS copy of the 'Know Your Role' video and would often pop it on my player on the weekends when i was messing around with my figures in my free time and this figure brings back heavy memories of that video, the Rock standing in the Miami sunlight just running down everyone opposing him at the time. this figure is AWESOME! it brings to life a late 1998-early 1999 era Rock dripped out in his Miami gold sunglasses and chains, his Rolex watch, expensive softgoods button up shirt, executive style khaki shorts and the $10,000 Gucci loafers. The headsculpt on this figure is really good, the likeness to Rock is spot on, i do believe this is the same headsculpt we saw in the 'Rock-N-Sock connection 2 pack with mankind. Rock is sporting a bit of a longer cut on the top of his hair and those trademark long sharp sideburns. Rock is captured in a cocky, confident, smirking expression and i really like it for this particular figure. As mentioned, this Rock is garbed out with his gold glasses, gold necklace, gold chain bracelet and his gold Rolex watch. i am SO HAPPY mattel is finally including these types of sculpted accessories with our figures, with interchangeable hand tech being 'a thing' now it seems natural we will start getting sculpted accessories to slide on the figures aswell. the glasses, chains and watch all look great on this figure and fit him fine. i was even able to slide the glasses down Rock's face a bit to get that iconic pose we all saw on our posters and stickers. Rock was given a softgoods shirt this go around that is primarily indigo and white with what appear to be some floral patterns printed throughout. it looks great, fits the figure fine and features velcro closure at the bottom 1/4 of the shirt seam. mattel went with that 'classic rock' torso on this figure which was the correct choice this time around š BUT THE BIGGEST GLARING OMISSION is that mattel skipped out on the brahama bull tattoo š¤š¤š¤ Rock is sporting some khaki shorts and i do believe that these are all existing sculpts mattel already had and its all just painted up accurately. finishing up this figure are some new lower leg molds that end up in some slick looking leather Gucci loafers. no interchangeable hands or additional accessories for this Rock figure were included. all in all this figure is GREAT! AMAZING! PHENOMINAL! genuinely bought this entire pack JUST TO HAVE this Rock figure. the headsculpt is seemingly from a correct time period, the outfit is definitely iconic-i remember seeing him posed in this shirt with the IC title on many stickers back in the day. i REALLY REALLY like the molded chains, bracelet and watch; the fact that they are not just painted on is a huge plus in itself but we can also swap them to other figures which is really freaking cool. the Khaki look is really nostalgic for me, i remember seeing a sticker of the rock posed wearing these khaki pants and i dunno it just seemed like the coolest, most stylish man id ever seen so its really cool to be able to have this look in an official mattel figure. im somewhat stunned that this figure is missing the brahama bull tattoo, but then again its just mattel's master plan to never produce a perfect figure. was the three pack worth it?!yes. mattel has been squeezing a bunch of elite figure packs out recently and to be honest they all have been pretty strong, BUT stuff like this (i think) is what collectors are really asking for. the packaging design was awesome, im not an MOC collector but these figures looked great in the packaging it was unique and it popped. FTITL Peter Maivia--kindof a niche offering i will admit BUT there are collectors out there looking for those FTITL guys, i dont think it wouldve been a strong offering alone as itself, youd probably still be able to find it on walmart.com for a couple of years ala KAMA but it turned out really freaking good for what we're all assuming is a one-and-done inclusion to the line. Rocky Johnson, like Maivia, i dont think wouldve been a strong seller on his own in this era even given all the updates he received (new skintone, truefx, new trunks and new boots mold) but it was strategic including him in this pack. The Rock figure i think we can all agree is the gem of the pack and frankly the reason tons of us will be getting it. new unique attire, new gold bracelet and Rolex watch the figure just flat out came out looking great. i REALLY wish they wouldve included the purple IC title in this pack it would put this figure OVER THE TOP, IMO.

Nice gets. All three from that series are excellent figures. The High Chief may be the best from the set, but that Rock is the definitive Rock figure, to me.

Happy EASTER SUNDAY YALL š°š£š„ well its been pretty slow for mattel purchases for me lately, bunch of stuff on the radar right now but im waiting for some sales to pop off as we all know there is always one around the corner. mattel has also been releasing alot of newer talent in the line and thats not really my bag, baby. really excited with all of the latest mattel announcements for future figures! new legends wave looks cool as hell! ugh my wallet š i went out on a figure hunt this past friday morning looking and hoping to find the last two MNW figures i need or some new AEW figures but no luck. my local walmart re-filled the wrestlemania shipper with top picks figures; codys for days. target had the Jacy Jayne basic but ugh i just hate the sculpting on the new basic womens figures they all look so flat. the walmart out of town is literally overflowing with old dusty AEW figures; all the pegs are full and there are like three stacks of boxes on the top shelf each 12-14 boxes high. i dont know whos decision it is to make but they just need to clearance those bad boys out at $5 a piece and theyd all be gone in a week. i remember seeing the Steve Austin / Triple H championship showdown pack there the last time i ran through and luckily it was still on the pegs, so i scooped it up! they had e107 undertakers and a cora jade floating around too, thats about it for elites. Championship ShowdownStone Cold Steve Austin Stomping in today is a BASIC š± version of the Texas Rattlesnake himself Stone Cold Steve Austin. Dear Mattel, your new articulation tactics are working. a formerly only elite figure buyer is now adding 'basics' Main Event figures to his collection (or atleast considering them alot more). so, i typically never ever bought basic figures because they really just felt like a step backwards to the old ttl/R3 days of figure articulation. the mattel elites were always so appealing because we finally got the inclusion of ball jointed hips and swivel thighs, making the figures so much less rigid feeling. the new hips on these main event figures are kindof a game changer for both dynamic and static posing for the figures. as mentioned in my review for the Hulk Hogan basic with new hips, i do think mattel needs to work on the sculpting on the jointed area for muscled leg look, but on these street clothes figures they actually look great! SO, Starting off on the Stone Cold figure, we once again see the angry shouting, trash talking scan that we saw in the ultimate figure pack and although mattel really seems to be getting some mileage with this sculpt, it looks great. Steve comes to the ring wearing his iconic 2001 red and yellow contrasting Austin 3:16 shirt. BIG kudos to mattel for including the back design on his shirt; a big red skull with yellow smoking eyes. one thing that does kind irk me is the sculpting on the arms. they gave him what i consider the cena arms but the shoulder just looks like a huge ball. there is little to no definition sculpting on the shoulder joint, so it looks like this crazy ripped, striated bicep just coming out of a beach ball or something š mattel should have whipped up a t shirt shoulder mold by now. going down the figure, steve is wearing his trademark jorts and as i mentioned the sculpting looks really good around the hips on these street gear figures. Mattel gave steve some small strapped black kneepads and red kneebraces-which is accurate for the timeframe. they did NOT give steve his texas longhorn tattoo on his leg but they finished up this figure in his low cut boots. for accessories we got a big eagle attitude era championship belt----that i REALLY like. all in all i gotta give credit, i really like this figure for what it is. a street gear steve austin doesnt necessarily have to be an elite figure, and i feel like this is a really great figure that achieves a good middle ground. frankly i do wish that they would have just kept giving these figures the elite style arms with the swivel biceps; the swivel elbows are pretty wonky and awkward to get used to posing. i will also say that all of the joints on my stone cold figure were super smooth; nothing excessively tight or loose, very good feeling figure to pose. Championship Showdown Triple H playing the game-uh today opposite stone cold is ofcourse Triple H. this pack i do believe is a little snapshot from the 'Two Man Power Trip' era of the Game and Austin's career. although this was a 'basic' pack and only came with one belt, i really think it would have been cool or beneficial to throw trips a bone and include either a sledgehammer/water bottle/kangol hat into this pack (i literally thought of the hat as i was typing this up it looks great on the figure i just tried it). this Trips comes to us also utilizing a head from his ultimate figure pack. it looks okay but i feel like the shape or placement of Hunter's eyes looks a little not correct?? also you can tell this headsculpt was made to accommodate the hat the way the hair is sculpted so flat on top--the likeness is there however. Trips is coming to the ring wearing a throwback t-shirt emphasizing lyrics from his Motorhead entrance song. the front of his shirt reads "i am your pain" and features a heavily saturated silhouette of himself posing. the back of the shirt reads "and i know you cant take me". looking at this figure i guess my same complaints arise concerning the shoulders on the figure--they just look far too round and unrealistic. Hunter is rocking some loose fitting track pants with the classic double stripe down the side and finishing up this figure are some undertaker? style boots. i definitely feel like they should have given him just wrestling boots but cant confirm accuracy. i will say that the left knee joint on my figure is obnoxiously tight while the rest of the joints on the figure work and feel smooth as they should. all in all this is a great street gear Triple H figure. we havent gotten many/if any street gear Trips figures and despite this being a basic figure, just like stone cold i feel like this figure reaches a good middle ground with the articulation provided to be useful. its a vintage shirt design on the figure and mattel did it up proper and included the back logo as well. as mentioned my only complaint/wish would have been that this figure got some dedicated accessories and that mattel chose different boots for this figure.

SIERRA HOTEL INDIA ECHO LIMA DELTA SHIELD SUNDAY!!! Basic 37 Roman Reignscoming in through the crowd today is a throwback figure all the way back from BASIC series 37; Roman Reigns. all i have to say is that i was able to pick up the new greatest hits elite seth rollins figure and it sent me into the kitchen šØāš³ ive been cooking lol. This Basic Roman figure came to us utilizing a new headsculpt; it captures Roman in an open mouthed fierce shouting OOOOOOHHHHHH AAAAAAHHHHHHH type of expression and i love it. honestly and truly this has always been my favorite early era Roman Reigns head; his early elite heads just missed on the likeness and i remember back in the day i bought this figure and did a head swap right away; this particular figure will be meeting the same fate š¤« i do believe this figure is based of of the shield's match at wrestlemania 29; that being said roman is wearing a neat looking vest with no extra tactical pockets, painted black wristbands and classic shield black tactical pants. i believe his tattoo is accurate to the era(tattoo only on his arm not yet extending to his pec). all in all this a great early Shield Roman Reigns figure. as i touched on it features my favorite Roman head, its very expressive and keeps a likeness to the chief. his early headsculpts gave him an almost feline or cat like appearance?? š¹ i got this figure for a very affordable price on the secondary market and its really not in awful condition; i may get a small bottle of black acrylic paint to touch up his eyebrows but i do fully intend to use this figure for a headswap. STAY TUNED I THINK ITS GONNA TURN OUT COOL.

HAPPY FIGURE FRIDAY YALL i cruised out to Jersey Mike's for my lunch break today-it happens to be right across the street from the out of town wal mart. i decided to pop in for a quick lil figure hunt and i found the MNW Bret and Roddy Piper Ultimate Editions!!! they had 2 MNW Hogans left on the pegs-i missed out on the Steve and Scott figures again really bummed about that now, but the ultimate figures were a score i was worried about finding them. also got the shipping notice for my Summerslam BAF wave and elite Terry Gordy so look forward to those pics and reviews next weekend most likely. i ALSO had been able to scoop up all of the ROH figures on the jazwares vault; pleasantly surprised i for some reason thought they would sell out but theyve been up for days at this point. ALSO ive been on a basic figure buying binge š lots of new basic CM Punk figures now calling my collection home again, i think ive bought 5-6 over the past few weeks which is exciting! COMING IN TODAY....... a sort of flashback friday? i dunno, if this post is against the rules ill delete it but i got a couple of old Jakks TTL figures in that i had never owned before and they graced the gaze of my camera lens. Rulers of the Ring Perry Saturn so i had a toybiz saturn figure my whole life and it honestly was one of my all time favorite figures. Saturn was an absolute legend in my fig fed as a kid. i really liked that he came with the softgoods black dress so you could really get two looks out of the figure. this TTL Saturn really is a snapshot of how good Jakks could be at times. i remember always seeing this figure on the back of the cards in the lineup and thinking that it looked like an amazing figure even by jakks standards. i ALWAYS wanted this figure but it was either sold out everywhere or MOC and just priced too high. TTL prices are super reasonable these days and i just remember looking it up on ebay and finding this guy in mint condition for less than $10 shipped. DEAL! the headsculpt on this figure is actually amazing for the time. jakks was using 'real scan' technology and alot of their headsculpts were actually pretty good and realistic looking. the headsculpt captures Saturn in a sort of determind, straight faced expression and although lacking in emotion, it does capture Saturn's likeness really well. Jakks gave Saturn all of his tattoos and they all seem to be correctly placed although they look hand drawn instead of a photorealistic capture of the art. he has a reaper piece on his left pec, a sort of explicit viking piece on his right pec, SATURN script along his stomach, a skull and a raven perched upon a skull on his right arm and a lion and a wizard on his left. finally Saturn has the tribal Saturn piece on his upper back. Saturn comes to the ring wearing some white hand wraps, Blue trunks with a black and silver Saturn image on the front and black and silver tribal designs on the back. finishing up this figure are some tall black boots. all in all i WISH Saturn had some sort of a deal we need all eras of Saturn represented in mattel figure form. the reason i bought this figure is because i do sadly feel like mattel will never make a Saturn so he needed some sort of representation in my collection. its so funny to me how much the basic figures remind me of the TTLs and how baldly i remember wanting my TTLs to have bicep and upper thigh articulation!! No Way Out RavenWHAT ABOUT RAVEN?! this is another figure i purchased for the dual facts that ive never owned a raven figure before and mattel will most likely never provide us with a Raven figure. i wanted the Rulers of the Ring Raven that was in the leather jacket and punisher shirt but i found this No Way Out figure MOC for lower than any of the RotR Ravens for sale. this figure has a really MEH headsculpt. im not Ravens best friend but im pretty sure i know what he looks like and this is kindof a little close to being out of the ballpark. they are way off on the overall shape of Raven's head as a whole and that being said his features then become really spread out and lacking the appropriate likeness. Jakks gave Raven some dirty red/brown hair and sculpted his beard into a forked design that he sported during his early years with wwf. this figure comes to the ring wearing a 2001 era Raven shirt with an oversaturated Red/orange portrait of himself on the front and a red silhoutte and grey RAVEN logo on the back. Raven flocks to the ring wearing his signature ripped jorts however funnily enough due to the sculpts jakks made work for this figure recipe, the back pockets are mashed up and out of scale. finishing up this fire are some white socks poking out the top of some mid length boots. all in all this is a good Raven figure. jakks used the molds they had available at the time and whipped up a figure, thats for dang sure. the scale of the body and the parts chosen is fine, everything works out for accuracy sake but the headsculpt on this figure is really reaching for likeness. with Sandman on the way im really itching for mattel to throw out some more ECW era guys and Raven is among those names at the top of the list.

WHOOOOOO what a weekend it was for figures my dudes!!!!! im super happy! it was kindof a rainy weekend out here- i love rainy days but moreover i got a TON of new figures in and im super hype right now. friday: MNW ultimate Bret Hart & Roddy Piper. 4 CM Punk Basics from ebay Saturday: Summerslam Elite BAF wave & E108 Terry Gordy Sunday: Legends 22 Hulk Hogan & Sultan (Ali and Albano getting shipped) very cool, very exciting figures and additions to the collection, looking forward to taking pics and sharing all them with yall š«¶ KEEPING UP TODAY with some more STRAIGHT EDGE SUPERSTAR SUNDAY Wrestlemania Heritage CM Punkcoming in today is another early era CM Punk, this time coming all the way back from March 30, 2008 at Wrestlemania 24!! we once again see the headsculpt that was used on the Basic 2 Punk figure, this time seeing no sideburn paint detail and an ever-so-slightly different chin goatee. when reviewing the basic 2 figure i mentioned i dont care for this headsculpt and that still stands with this figure. the hair swept behind the ears just kills the look in the worst way.this figure was released many years after the basic 2 punk figure so we see a little improvement on the paint apps to the eyes aswell. interestingly enough, mattel took accuracy into account and we see Punk's right arm looking quite sparce as far as tattoos go as this was before he got all those flash tattoos done (stars, ice cream cone, etc). this figure was from March 2008, the Basic 2 figure being from October(ish) 2008 assumption proving he got that work done in the months between. anyways this figure comes in the gear Punk wore exclusively at Wrestlemania, some black trunks with white stars bordered by solid white stripes and solid stripes along the sides. its just funny to me the scaling of the stars on these early punk figures; i dont think the scale ever changed on his actual trunks. this punk figure comes to the ring wearing some legsleeve style kneepads(UGH) and black kickpads with more white stars and stripe deco. all in all this is a really cool punk figure(duh they all are) i genuinely always liked these trunk designs; Punk really nailed his aesthetic around this time with the whispy emo jet black hair, lip piercing and very simple yet very iconic Chicago Star trunks. i dont particularly care for the headsculpt as mentioned but its cool to have that really early wwe era punk represented in my collection.

Summerslam Elite BAF John ConeThe UndertakerSauntering in today is the one and only Deadman, The Undertaker! This Undertaker comes to us from Summerslam 2015āand holy wow I cannot believe that was 9 years agoā¦. i distinctly remember this match and goofy meme moment in the match between them like it was yesterday. Im not gonna lie though im bringing out my shovel for this reviewā¦ these past few (modern)undertaker elite figures have really kind of been jumping the shark as far as usefulness in the collection. the ringside exclusive āstraps downā taker was thumbs down for sure, the āone Deadman showā taker was also sort of āā¦what is this??ā territory and now we get the Summerslam 2015 era Undertaker elite figure. This figure comes to the ring given only his trademark black brimmed hat for entrance gear, no jacket. The main draw of this figure are the two new included interchangeable heads. The first head portrays Undertaker in a bug eyed, soul glaring, laser focused expression and it really captures the likeness and how imposing the Deadman can be given just a stare. The other head captures Taker in an open-mouthed shouting āHA-HA-HAā or alternatively an āAHHHHHHHHHā shouting headāeither way I want to also give kudos to Mattel for capturing the Deadmanās exaggerated, bug eyed, phenom facial nuances in these sculpts. Following thatā¦.the rest of this figure is all classic Undertaker body recipe formula, HOWEVER classic Mattel had chosen to give him the BROCK LESNAR sized closed fist hands and its just one of those things again whereā¦not calling this a perfect figure by any means but there is always ONE FREAKING THING so out of line on the figure keeping it from just being a next level feature. The Lex Luger hair color, the Brock Lesnar fists for Undertakerāwhat will the next two figures have holding them back?! All in all this is definitively the āproblemā figure of THIS baf wave. I will say that Mattel did a great job on these new headsculpts, the likeness is completely there and they did a great job on getting that energy and expression across with the open mouthed head. The biggest issue with this figure however is thatā¦beyond the goofy heads, this figure is really nothing new or exciting or groundbreaking as far as undertaker figures go. maybe they have always been that way? i dunno... I guess it will go good with the elite 108 Brock to re-create the moment but AGAIN, I donāt know that we really wanted/needed these to clog elite spots and in a BAF wave scenario.
