So we all know about Marty's personal demons but what if he didn't have those and was able to keep his head on straight
Where do you see his career going?
I see him facing Shawn at Mania 8, which was planned, and Shawn winning with a cheap pin with help from Sherri or Marty winning by dq
Then I see Marty sliding down the card a bit facing heels, but winning. I would put him in a dark match at Summerslam and find someone for him at Survivor series
Then Royal Rumble 93 he beats Shawn for Ic title but loses it at Mania
The rest of 93 plays out like it did in real life and he wins the tag title with 1-2-3 KID, but when they lose Marty turns on Kid and they try a heel run
Marty then leaves company in mid 95 but comes back late 96
After the screw job Marty could cut a promo about how Shawn is a piece of crap and that Bret got screwed.
Marty could get a title shot at a In your house but lose and then feud with HHH till Marty falls down the card and is let go around early 99 or so where he goes to WCW

I can def see him having a few more runs as IC Champ.
Shame we never got that Mania match with HBK.They wouldve tore the Hoosier Dome down for sure

That's a tough one, because everything that turned out for Marty seemed so natural in a weird way.
Marty was better chasing the IC Title than holding it. So him winning it from HBK and holding it for a month seemed logical to me, even back then at age 12. Though I suppose winning it a few more times and losing it a month or so later would still work too.
The tag title win with the 123 Kid was great. Too bad it was just a week though. I would have loved to seen them get a month out of it, but they had to put the straps back on the Quebecers to do the Hart Brothers match at the Rumble.
For anyone that doesn't know, there is a match on Coliseum Video of Marty and the Kid defending the WWF Tag Titles against the Headshrinkers from either a Superstars or Wrestling Challenge TV taping just days after they won the belts on Raw.

I think their IC programme was scheduled to be a long enough feud. I thought MJ to win @ WM9 & HBK to regain @ Summerslam....
But of course that's Jannettys 2nd run 🤣🤣
