Has anyone gotten the 3 figures from Thundercats wave 3 yet? They look pretty good. I think I might be done with Super7 as far as buying waves of figures so while I would normally get Slythe and Jaga, think I'm going to pass. It's just too expensive at $55 + tax & shipping. I'm content just cherry picking for now...still plan on getting Mon-Star next year. I got my set of three figures from wave three. These are the first figures I've gotten from Super7 since the NJPW figures, and these figures are awesome! Really good, tight joints. Paint apps are great. I have no complaints. I agree, they are expensive, but for me I'm only collecting two lines from Super7 at the moment: Thundercats and NJPW. Both of them have been veeery slow to release, so it hasn't been too much of a hit to my wallet.

Yup I'm cherry picking and got Slythe the other day - GREAT quality figure, very heavy, well articulated. Weird that they opted out of a bicep swivel but not a big deal. Quality toy for sure.

Captain Cracker from Thundecats wave 3 showed up, no tracking email notification. Pleasant surprise from Super 7.

I do think it's a bummer they're not more metallic looking. I've seen a lot of excuses being made. I don't know that I believe most of them. Mattel showed off a Battle Armor He-man today with vac. I guess if the joints are the issue I get it, but we used to get vac metal a sh*t ton in the 80s and 90s. Regardless, hopefully these do well and we can keep getting this kind of stuff. I would absolutely love Bravestarr, and would still take Major Disaster and Killemoff if they do more Toxic Crusaders to go with Toxie. Having just seen their Ultimates Destro-with metallic paint-seems they were full of it with the excuses on why the wave 1 Silverhawks had flat colors.

Say a guy only plans to add one Super 7 Mon*Star to his collection. Would you go with transformed series 1 or pre-transformation series 2?

And it just gives them an excuse to re-release them later with the improved paint opps.

But I'd say get both. They're both really cool designs. But if only 1 get the armored version....its $85 but its massive. Weirdly enough I actually think its a decent deal factoring in the size and multiple accessories. These 2 are going to be my sole Silverhawks purchases unfortunately.I don't want to do multiple waves of figures at that $55 price. Sucks too cause I was a huge fan of the show and toys back in the day.

I’d love to get both, but as you say, those prices and doubling up characters isn’t gonna work for me!

Fyi, if anyone was hesitating on getting Slithe better get him now. Looks like big and bad's stock is getting low and they're already starting to markup.

Ordered a Bengali from Super7 to get one paid for now, and then ordered Bengali and Vultureman together from Big Bad. I plan on having a second Bengali and Tygra sitting in the Thundertank since those are my two favorites. Really glad to be crossing him off. We still don't have Hachiman, Ratar-O, Snarf, Mongor, the Berbils, or Kit and Kat (even though have the Mattel version on those two). So Bengali could have easily been pushed again. Glad he wasn't.
I think I draw the line at the Berserkers. I just don't feel like I need them. Mirror Lion-O is into Pumm-Ra territory for me. I don't need it. Too deep of a cut. Hammerhand turned out awesome, but Mirror Lion-O and Pumm-Ra are really frustrating for me on a macro level. There are only 4 slots in these lineups and it takes us two years to get them in-hand. Mirror Lion-O in particular feels like he would have made for an easy/good SDCC exclusive. The nice thing is that it feels like these are a success for Super7 and they're going to keep going for the foreseeable future. I don't know how much more patient you can ask a fanbase to be, though.
Most of us who are nostalgic about Cats from childhood have that one LJN figure we're really romantic about. Mine is Tygra and he still hasn't shipped. I really feel for those who are still waiting for that character, whoever it may be, to even be slotted.

After the obvious main Cats, Bengali was number one on my list. I'm also glad they're finally making him. He'll be my first Super 7 purchase since wave one. Still bummed wave two hasn't shipped, though. S7 keeps offering new preorders, but they're still just as slow as they've ever been actually getting them to collectors.

They did a really poor job getting people product in a timely fashion prior to covid and now they have all of these excuses to take even longer. And TMNT is absolutely taking priority over everything else they're doing. Probably because the order numbers are much larger, if I were to guess. If you're not used to dealing with their sh*t, you have to be losing your mind right now with them. They've had our money for two full years on Wave 2. We're a full year past the original ship date. It's just insane on that wave in particular, and Cheetara isn't far behind in that conversation now with her delays.
