I couldn't find a topic just for Silverhawks yet. I debated between this thread or the MOTU thread, as they both had mentions of this line in them. PJ, feel free to move this if you want.
Silverhawks Ultimates preorders go live tomorrow (6-10) from Super7.
Wave 1 is:
Quicksilver Steelheart Mon*Star Buzz-Saw
I think Quicksilver looks pretty good. I'm still on the fence with these though. I wasn't a huge Silverhawks fan, and I'm invested in so many other lines now.
Anybody else looking forward to these figures?

^I am. I’m hoping they can do all the characters. The bigger question is will they do a Maraj or Skyrunner. And heaven help me cause I’d try to be in for both of them.

I'm excited they're making them, and they look great, but aren't these their most expensive figures so far?
Seems like with every release, Super7 bumps up the price. I get they're not Mattel or Hasbro, but the constant price increases with extremely slow turnaround times make them a no-go for me. They're asking collectors to accept a lot because they're a "small" company, but you gotta draw the line somewhere. Maybe if I had a Thundercats Tigra in hand or a Bengali at least announced...

Mon*Star is the most expensive Ultimate at 85.00. I was going to order some of the last wave Disney Ultimates but 55.00 for Mad Hatter pretty small figure is absurd small company or not. They look great would consider getting them Buzz-Saw is pretty cool. I got some stuff in hand from them and they are good figures but the price points are getting very high, McFarlane, Mezco, Neca, are small companies but aren't going super crazy with the pricing and they have some licenses that are on par with super 7 offerings, Hasbro finally raised Marvel Legends, Star Wars black from 19.99 to 22.99 only 3.00 after how many years the deluxe figures are 29.99 in both but Super 7 makes them 30.00 higher. Going from 45.00 to 55.00 is just way to high, it's nearly the cost of an ultimates figure from them, if they gradually went from 45.00 to 50.00 it would have been a little bit easier or price the smaller figures accordingly.

I think I'm talking myself out of these figures. They look really good, but I just didn't have the connection to this show like I did others shows. I'll stick with the Thundercats line for now.

Yeah the prices are high but ask yourself who else is making Silverhawks figures? Hell, who's made Silverhawks anything within the last 35 years. And most likely it's going to be one wave a year anyway. Also, they'll still be cheaper than most SHF,Mezco,Mafex, Kaiyodo and Figma releases

I pre-ordered Quicksilver and Steelheart. I'm not in for everything on this line but these two, Copper Kid, and Bluegrass are musts for me and then probably Steelwill and Stargazer just to wrap up the core. These aren't shipping until next year, likely more than a full year from now. So I'm not stressing over it. S7's shipping is so slow that we get huge breaks in-between waves of stuff. I was worried about Turtles and Cats overlapping but I have two waves of Turtles on my shelf and zero new Cats yet.
I do think it's a bummer they're not more metallic looking. I've seen a lot of excuses being made. I don't know that I believe most of them. Mattel showed off a Battle Armor He-man today with vac. I guess if the joints are the issue I get it, but we used to get vac metal a sh*t ton in the 80s and 90s. Regardless, hopefully these do well and we can keep getting this kind of stuff. I would absolutely love Bravestarr, and would still take Major Disaster and Killemoff if they do more Toxic Crusaders to go with Toxie.

I'm super impressed you can even name the Silverhawks characters. I watched everything in the 80s and can't name one Silverhawk. haha And I would 100% buy Bravestarr figures. All of them. Great suggestion.

I knew vac-metal wasn't likely with these types of figure but surprised they didn't do some kind of metallic paint deco. Especially when its something they've already done successfully with v2 Voltron, God Skeletor and v2 Karg. Most likely they're going to rerelease a 'toy deco' variant of Quicksilver done up in metallic paint. Theyve already did that with Voltron, don't see why they wouldn't with Silverhawks. Especially since Brian Flynn owns the IP now...he can pretty much make whatever he wants with them. Buzz-Saw too will probably get a toy deco variant in green and yellow colors.

And on a separate note, been picking up S7's Conan figures lately. I passed on the line after seeing how suckful pit fighter Conan looked but ended up really liking Iconic pose Conan. So got him and ended up getting all 3 of the riders of doom.

Big Bad sent me a email saying my Dynamic movie Pose Conan is in stock. So I just said ship it and the two items that came in yesterday.

Got the Big Bad alert on Conan, as well. I'm hanging tight on shipping it yet, though. I'm hoping the wave 3 of S7 Cats or Turtles will come in-stock inside my Loot window so I get them altogether.

Looks pretty awesome PJ but his neck needs some paint to match his face and chest. I like this one a lot, though.

Any word on Thundercats Wave 2 and 3 being released mate? I was under the assumption wave 2 was due to ship late july or early august if i remember correctly.

I guess they switched factories starting with Series 3 and the factory they have for wave 1 and 2 is backed up and they’ve had issues with them. Wave 3 is shipping from the factory now. So I would think those start shipping to us at the end of this month. Hopefully Wave 2 isn’t far behind but I’m not expecting them until October/November time at this point.

This was the info from Brian for anyone who didn't get the email. Essentially all of this stuff is shipping inside the next two months but it's a total crapshoot how long it's going to take on the boat.

Has anyone gotten the 3 figures from Thundercats wave 3 yet? They look pretty good. I think I might be done with Super7 as far as buying waves of figures so while I would normally get Slythe and Jaga, think I'm going to pass. It's just too expensive at $55 + tax & shipping. I'm content just cherry picking for now...still plan on getting Mon-Star next year.
