This would be a great place for Kross to drop the title before moving to the main roster. He could once again lose the title without being pinned. Then go to the main roster and challenge either champion by saying hes never been pinned for either NXT title and he want to add to his collection. And then we can start the countdown to when Vince breaks up Kross and Scarlett and both of them become lesser acts as a result. Before then, Vince would have to incessantly shove him down the crowd's throat as his next big star. Then one week he'll just give up on them as a pairing and push Scarlett as the HBK of the split.

Lol what a lame ending. Kross is the least interesting person to me in this match. Cool look and all but just kinda decent

Kross' thing is that he just never sells. He takes all the hits, and then slaps on that sleeper hold and puts his opponent and the crowd to sleep

Kross is the perfect main roster 5-7 minute match guy

I enjoyed Kross in impact but man, his NXT stuff is not good at all. Crowd went completely mild with that ending. 4 of the most talented in ring guys you have in that match, then Kross. Then Regal basically announces he's no longer gonna be gm. Going from bad to worse.
I enjoyed the opener. That's about all I can really say about this one.

NXT is really bad now. I don’t know what they need but they need a shot in the arm of something different. The show has felt stale for a long time, not even comparable to the product we had 5 years ago. I think getting their ass kicked from AEW to the point they had to move nights doesn’t help either.
For example, you just had Karrion Kross clean the entire main event talent in one night, that’s stupid. Kross is a guy that should be on the main roster now because he does not fit the NXT style at all. Nobody feels big-time right now either. They broke up undisputed era for nothing either and left everyone lost in the shuffle. Fish and Strong are doing nothing and the only thing that came of it was Cole vs O’Reilly. Not a good product at all, I don’t see how they can even sell out a takeover right now in an actual arena if given the opportunity.

This show didn’t really make me want to tune in Tuesday. Not a bad show it’s just kinda uninteresting to me since they split UE, gave Cole and Kyle jobber themes, and keep putting Kross in the main event when he’s not nearly at that level of these guys in the match. Most of his stuff was him laying down and then doing moves for a minute or two and then laying down again

Good main event, bad ending. The rest of the show was trash. Something you could see tuning in each week on Tuesday.

Baffles me they put the million dollar title on Knight. Never been into his in ring work, but he’s a good promo. Grimes on the other hand is getting over so it just felt like a mistake to have him lose here, imo.

Ahh, saw someone elsewhere speculate Regal's statement was setting up the return of a past NXT Champion that's recently been seen back on campus.
I would hate to see Regal go without getting a GM fig but that is vintage Mattel.

It’s better long term booking to have Grimes chase the title.

I thought it was a good main event until the ending, please take the title off Kross. Anybody else in that match would have great matches with anybody and can have a great run with the title but they keep it on a guy most people just doesn't care about
Grimes chasing after the Million Dollar Belt should be some great tv.

I generally like Kross and I enjoyed the main event but it's hard not to notice how the best parts of the match didn't involve him.

Why would you want Grimes anywhere near that dead division or even on that abysmal show? A total waste of him, imo. I want to see him doing something in big time wrestling because he’s an entertaining character, and he’s a better fit for 24/7 hijinks than anywhere on SmackDown. He’s too good to keep on a vanilla midget niche show. I’d like to say the same for Dexter Lumis too, but I think he might be another Adam Rose type situation where it doesn’t translate to the big time.

It’s better long term booking to have Grimes chase the title. It’s never been some prestigious title like they’re making it appear to be in my eyes. To me it’s a waste of Grimes to have him chasing after a lower tier prop title rather than the North American or World titles. Don’t get me wrong I’ve liked the storyline and Grimes has shown how much potential he has to be a bigger star. He seemed to be the person the crowd was most into last night so I’d push him farther up the card rather than having matches with Knight who is very average other than promos
