Shocker! You mean Mattel dropped the ball with someone they were able to make? It’s a reoccurring theme for them! They seem to drop the ball more than hitting home runs as of late.

wasn't there a tna prototype that was supposed to have this feature? i could see mattel doing this with an ultimate edition if they ever make kurt figs again. Yeah the series 9 figure was going to have that. I’m still sad ToyBiz lost the TNA line and closed down |

It was one of the iconic things Angle did and yet we never were able to do it in fig form, kind of a miss on Jakks and Mattels part Is everyone ignoring the bunch of TTL’s with the cloth singlets? I had at least 3 of them as a kid |

Atleast Mattel can say Kurt wasn’t their biggest fail with the elite line. That honor goes to RVD and his one elite figure. still gets me tight, they could’ve used the same figure everything and repainted single. Money printer right there |

All of his amazing attires and we got two suited old man angles, two modern day pigeon knee Kurts and a god damn shield Kurt. Mr Sweat makes some god awful decisions at times.

there are absolutely not enough elite Kurt Angle's in my collection period.
only 4...2 modern and 2 "classic" and not even any iconic looks tbh. they definitely dropped the ball with Angle

To be fair, I think we did get his 2 most iconic looks (the EG figure and the E59/Wrestlemania 19 figure), but... They dropped the ball with Angle, for sure. We should've gotten:
King of the Ring 01
Summerslam 01
Unforgiven 01
No Mercy 02
Wrestlemania XX
Wrestlemania XXI
The best Angle figure we got was E59...and even that one is meh.

I thought this feature would be cool. Bret did it v flair when he won his first world title Perfect did it v flair in the retirement match on raw Granted not as often as angle but still pretty iconic for fans of those eras Also if they worked out how to do it, they could repurpose parts from other figures all bar the torso - this feature wouldn’t affect head, arms, legs boots etc all of which would’ve already been previously produced Neidhart, Owen and Lawler also pulled the straps down on occassion. |
