Love the Deluxe line, I’m always jealous seeing these because it was my favourite style of figure as a kid to play with while the Classic line was my favourite to collect, but being in the UK these weren’t released here.
My Aunt brought me back the HBK and Beefcake from Series 4 when she was on holiday in 2008 and that was the only ones I owned until getting them much later.
I love seeing these, so thanks for the walk down memory lane PJ.

Nope they never made Warrior in the Deluxe style. Isn’t there a 1/20 csda warrior? So it’s kind of a technicality But personally I can’t count the exclusive warriors (to him) for any type of completist deal just because there were so many low number warriors it seems like. I don’t mind rare figures but his whole thing just seemed out of control. But hearing there wasn’t a mass release csda warrior thats really surprising. At the time I didn’t like the Delux figures but the classic once’s really look great I’ll be honest - really great collection here

I know he had exclusive regulars CS styled figures as part of his deal. Not sure if he had CSDA style also.

The CSDA was a great representation of how good the Jakks line was and could be. Thanks for sharing.

The 3 1/20 Warriors releases that were his private sale were all deluxe style in regular Classic Boxes. All 3 were different, but yup all of them were deluxe aggression.

What was the difference between the Deluxe and regular lines?

What was the difference between the Deluxe and regular lines? Deluxe were larger figures and came with ring skirts for the RSR. The regular CS line were RA styled figures. Think of the Deluxe figures like Elites but without the articulation at the top of the boots or the ankle rockers. The regular CS/RA line were like basics minus the top of the boot articulation.

funny how jakks was nailing bret hart's head scan yet 15 years later mattel cant get it right. The closest Jakks came to nailing it was the profile view on the CSDA 2 figure. The rest of that scan or any other capture Bret’s likeness. But Mattel’s aren’t much better without the sunglasses on. The first scan (DM) looks like him from the profile. But I think his best likeness from Mattel, Jakks and ToyBiz is Mattel’s Hart Foundation Flashback. Especially with the sunglasses on.

Thanks for explaining the difference. It's strange -- I like the look of the regular CS Classics better, even though you describe them as closer to basics.
And yes -- this Bret head is better than anything Mattel has done...

I started moving my collection into one room. Here’s the start of my Jakks figures.

Looking at these, all I can think of is the commonly stated fact that Jakks was pretty good at what they did but when they messed up, they messed up HARD.
So many of these are works of figure art but then you get one like that Snuka figure and you literally wince at how bad it is. I count at least three different skin tones on that figure. Yikes.
