Can’t believe no one is talking about the ZST and Chella lines!
In all seriousness, the other threads keep getting shut down due to some unusual and undefined expectations. It is borderline trolling from mod(s) which is hypocritical but what can ya do if they won’t look in the mirror? With that in mind, we can try this yet again without discussing the companies or the people running the companies or the practices of the companies. Stay on topic and be respectful towards each other. Also apparently it is not ok to discuss that there is some kind of collusion going on with people from this website and other companies/individuals.

does anyone else find it suspicious that the moderator said we can't have separate threads for each toy company because they "found it didn't work out" but then every single one of these multi-company retro threads also ends up getting locked after a few people get too critical of ZST? so apparently a few people being critical of ZST is enough to close all discussion of all retro toy lines but at the same time, we cannot have separate threads for each company. how does this make sense at all? it's almost like they just don't want ZST criticism in any way and are willing to shut down discussion of all other toy lines in order to prevent it. very weird. also going to point out that the moderator is the sole reason the last thread got locked after he started a fight by insinuating another member was a liar, after you guessed it, they posted something from a friend that vaguely criticized ZST. doesn't it seem odd that the moderator, who had to lock multiple other threads for apparent fighting/complaining, would be willing to start a fight with another user over something that wasn't even highly critical or offensive in any way and then locks the whole thread after he was the one who disrupted it? I looked at the ones that were locked, nothing looked too crazy. If you can't respectfully discuss things what's the point? It's not a mystery why some boards are on life support. |

Can someone tell me where the NJPW figures are/will be available? Is that Jay White also made by Chella and available there?

It will be manufactured by Chella but I’m not sure how it will be sold yet. It’s a little different in that Nerd’s Clothing are the ones somehow facilitating the deal. To complicate things more, they said they were releasing information with the help of Major WF Pod. Nerds’ last update I think was in January stating the figure would be available in Q1. EDIT: the moderator just told me the admins locked the other threads because matt cardona and zombie were being bullied lmfao. unbelievable. |

Maybe we all can just agree to not discuss the Heels & Faces line anymore.
Something very positive: I got my 2 Meanie sets, both with cracked cards. Getting a replacement was absolutely smoothless. That’s what I call great service. We even had a nice chat on IG. Chella is highly recommend for future purchases.

I really hope we get some news regarding the release date of that Jay White. I asked Chella if they could give any news and they said they couldn’t and to ask Nerds. I asked Nerds and they also couldn’t give any news. So, I guess we’re just kind of wait and see at this point. LoL. I do hope the lack of a release date means that there’s some kind of NJPW retro line in the works.

It would be cool if more figure manufacturers would DM you for discussing their business practices and offer you a free figure.
I mean, it would be weird, but kinda cool, I guess.
I guess you could ultimately say I wouldn't buy these if they were free.

Unless you say he’s the greatest guy ever and produces the best figures ever then the post gets deleted so seems like best bet. Other lines (chella, junk shop etc) seem to be discussed without hassle, and they are not rude to their customers so make of that what you will |

I had a similarly great experience the one time I needed to reach-out to them - they posted that they would be sending out the Aldis figure early the following week, but I knew I was not going to be around after the middle of that week and would be away for a while, so I asked if there was any chance they could send mine out a little bit earlier so it would arrive before I left, and they were able to accommodate me and make that happen. The figures arrived the day before I left and saved everyone a lot of potential hassle. Maybe a small thing, but I really appreciated them helping me with that. I have all their other figures on order now; looking forward to adding Giant Haystacks to the family! |

I always get excited when I see the word "Haystacks", then let down when it's not Haystacks Calhoun. He's obviously way before my time, but I've been infatuated with his career since the 7th grade. There was a book in my school library called I Was a Teenage Professional Wrestler by Ted Lewin that mentioned him along with some pictures and illustrations, and it was just the sort of thing that really grips you when you're a dumb kid completely obsessed with pro wrestling. I'd love to see Chella make him. I think it would be a great companion to the Giant Haystacks figure, and I'd buy it from them in an instant.

I wonder if Giant Haystacks would be a good base for a MoD Viscera custom. Before he went with the trench coat. I feel like it would be. With that in mind, I may have to buy two of these. LoL

LoL Couldn't be a bad start. Viscera's look, pre-overcoat, was just a black vest over a form fitting top and the baggy pants. Maybe use the old Jakks BCA head to vibe with the more vintage, cartoony look? |
