ZST’s Ahmed is looking real good too. I’m in no rush to buy it but maybe once it is in hands, I would consider ordering it (if it is more Hasbro-like than G&G Ahmed.) http://instagram.com/p/Ctg_KAdr1dU Interesting to note that Josh apparently has multiple sculptors now (something I wasn’t aware of). My biggest complaint about this figure at this stage is that he is one of the many that are missing a Hasbro-like pose. There has been a trend of having figures be in the Jim Duggan pose (for lack of a better term). I understand that you don’t want to over use jumpers, bodyslammers, or macho king punchers…but mix in some more suplex poses, Jake Roberts punches, etc. |

Brian Myers just posted his unboxing of Godfather and Ahmed. I don’t want to trash these (and to be fair, Brian didn’t either) but I’m glad I waited. These just don’t look right to me. The skin tones just look wrong. They’re very squeaky figures, most likely due to everything being painted instead of molded in the skin tone color. They seem gummy and the Godfather jointed elbow looks wonky. I don’t think they’re awful, but they’re missing the mark for me. And with Zombie posting that new Ahmed mold today, I feel more comfortable waiting for his.
I will say though that there’s some potential for the future for Mitch if G&G makes him a profit and he can improve on the mistakes. But we’ll have to wait and see on that.

Thank you for posting that! Very informative. The squeak sound definitely gives it a cheap vibe. They appear as though they are very lightweight but it’s hard to tell. I think I will weigh mine and compare it to other figures.
Look-wise they seem exactly as advertised. I don’t really know what Brian was fixated on with it looking off due to the paint process. Maybe that will be more obvious in person.

So looking at the pictures/Myers' video, the G&G look better than I would have thought, but they same to be caught in a middle ground where they look more simplistic/toy-like (AKA pretty close to real Hasbros) but kind of look a bit off the same time. Also, a thread on the MWFP Facebook group has popped up from someone who got them in (not one of the hosts/people associated with the show) showing that Ahmed's shoulder seam popped up when the arm was lifted up.

Ahmed should look closer to the same color as a Hasbro Kamala and Godthfather should be closer to Papa Shango. Instead the colors are flat. It’s because it’s a white plastic body painted that skin color. Under some lights it probably looks ok, but to me Ahmed looks like he’s just had a mud bath. |

I watched it earlier, the figures really don't look that bad but I wouldn't drop the asking price on one. For what they are, and how fast he got them made, they're ok.
The Godfathers arm bending all the way back looks awful though, but aside from that and the noise it makes when you move the arms they are exactly what I was expecting to be honest.
Fair play to the guy for how quickly these were made, but if you compare to Zombie or Chella, they've got a long way to go. If he continues doing more, they'll get better over time just like Chella did.

The skin colours are way off! Smoke train looks way to light - Tony Norris is way too dark… they look like someone’s first customs. I think the upcoming savio, m.o.m and godwinns will be way better from the early pics. Just one man’s opinion.

Royal Mail delayed my delivery of the CG so it will be Monday till I have it in hand, some angles look great and some look off. Hopefully they are more like the former |

It's very clear on G&G's Instagram post. Not sure what that's all about but it stands out big time. Hoping Mabel doesn't not have this issue. |
