No idea what to expect at this point with whoever ZST has signed. It is guaranteed to disappoint some people. My hopes are that these figures work out as it would be nice to have some other figures in this form factor…but I might be in the minority on that one. It really just depends upon who is out there. Random celebrities kind of seem pointless but getting several/all major characters from movies or tv shows would be cool. I’m not sure I need a mixed collection of say Jerry Springer, Dave Thomas, and Bo Jackson. All cool dudes but not really something I would need to collect. Innnn other news: Rush showed off James Storm for series 2: www.instagram.com/reel/CtyANfzv1jv/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==Even if people are let down by ZST’s big announcement, don’t forget that you can get your own Zombie figure by collecting Rush’s Monster Masters line (no affiliation with Josh Sailor). http://instagram.com/p/Ctj4DUExBGp I think this fell through the cracks but Grapplers and Gimmicks showed off the prototype Oscar: http://instagram.com/p/CtnPhwNsFB4 Thanks to the MWFP for bringing it to my attention but it appears as though Wrecollect is still alive? They made a post a few months ago about releasing this custom stage/backstage area. It isn’t available on their website and I have yet to hear back. It would still be a fun piece to have (much like the barbershop): http://instagram.com/p/CqJ7qgwslNR I've no idea who James Storm is, so that's another random-ass name to add to the growing collection of retro figures I won't be buying. The Hasbro style zombie figure looks good, but I'm struggling to see what's Hasbro about it.. it's nothing like a Hasbro... Like, at all. Mitch looks really good, though not a figure I'm after.

I'll be buying Mil Muertes. More Lucha guys would be nice, there's far too many announcers and non wrestlers in general for my liking in these lines.

Wait…you know an obscure character like Mil Muertes but not an established veteran like James Storm? James Storm spent almost his entire career in TNA. He was even world champion at one point. Cowboy James Storm is probably best remembered as part of the tag teams America’s Most Wanted (with Chris Harris) and Beer Money (with Robert Roode). He also had half a cup of coffee in WCW and NXT.

I only really know Mil from Lucha Underground. I watched a little TNA but I've honestly never heard of Storm. A few more Lucha guys would be excellent in retro form, as so many of them are toyetic.

I heard MWFP mention a couple shows back Road Warriors that I think Asylum showed off? Were they talking about the Summerslam 92 gold attire retros? Did those go up for preorder someplace already?

Epic have that attire I believe, Zombie have them in I think the black attire as does Asylum in the Remco style line they have.

I can't remember what Epic have in the pipeline versus what Chella were supposed to be doing. So much was announced that hasn't been heard about since.

I guess they were talking about the Remco style then. I know they mentioned Asylum.

Are all announced figures still going ahead, or are Epic dropping any potential figures announced by Chella, like the proposed British legends line.

I would like to know if that’s still happening.

I don't think we'd have a Big Daddy or a Giant Haystacks without Chella, though. I was looking forward to potentially getting a Kendo Nagasaki figure, which would've been amazing.

they're planning to release a figure per wave, where it makes sense
so rather than get a wave of the likes of Kendo Nagasaki, Adrian Street, Dave Taylor, Mick McManus, Fit Finlay, Chris Adams, 'Rollerball' Rocco, Marty Jones etc, you'd get a wave of five or so figures like Eddie Guerrero/Adrian Street/Killer Bees and Missy Hyatt, and then in the next wave, you might get Kendo Nagasaki included alongside the likes of Legion of Doom and Onita
personally I'd prefer all of the British legends to be released as a line of their own, because I'd happily buy them for a British legends collection, but their view is making them part of the wider line has more value than creating a whole new line with limited market interest

They could go with a British style packaging design.

That would make perfect sense from a funding standpoint. It is a niche of niche market already so including them once in a while seems more viable than all at once which has a much higher risk factor.

Got my Ahmeds, ordered 3. Only one of the three cards had some creasing in one corner, so that's the one I opened. Other 2 cards were pretty minty. Carding is sturdy and eye catching, and the main thing, the figure itself, I'm really pleased with. Not perfect, but pretty darn cool, one of my favorite modern Retros so far, at least in my top ten, maybe top five. Well done and it's a pretty big name not too far out from the Hasbro era. And turn around was mind blowing, don't know how he did it when the other companies are doing a year plus to eighteen months in some cases. And this is the first 2! If he keeps improving and tweeking so they're better each release, and keeps pumping them out this quick, it's a huge win for collectors. He also seems to have gone mainly for talent that isn't too far removed from the Hasbro time period, so that's huge to me at least. Only 1 he's shown so far I had no interest in was Godfather and I guess that's a good thing considering that one doesn't look like it turned out as good as Ahmed, or what I've seen previewed for the others.

Zombie announcement coming today I believe. Last minute speculation: Johnny Depo, Stallone, Kevin Smith.
