Not to be negative (I’m conscious of that in these threads) but I’m a little disappointed they’ve given Koko the clothesline action - there have been so many customs of him over the decades using Owen or Anvil that I had hoped that since they were starting from scratch that they’d do something unique for Koko. But I get that it’s a figure inspired by the custom Hasbros, and the clothesline is arguably the best action of the original line, I was just hoping they’d use a bit more imagination with the free hand that they have with a new figure. I will of course be ordering it

I didn't know about this one! Mitch really knows the guys to get. Can't wait! I think at this rate I'll have more of his figures in hand than Chella and Zombie combined very soon.

And since Owen's Hasbro has that action, I'd love to get an alternate body for Koko. Mitch does seem to take constructive suggestions seriously though, so who knows, maybe the figure could change before production? Either way, I'll still buy him.

It kind of makes sense with Koko because Owen and Anvil do habe the same pose aswell. With this being said, I really couldn’t think of another matching pose for Koko.🤷🏼♂️

I'm sure I heard that somewhere). For Koko I don't think he needs to have the clothesline just because Owen and Anvil have it - he fits with them because of the attire rather than than the action. If we imagine Hasbro had their full toy box of bodies to choose from, then yes they'd probably just have been lazy and reused the Owen body or repainted the jumper Koko, but if we are fantasy booking the Hasbro line then a High Energy Koko could've had the elbow smash body, or the Jake punch - Ruby Fusion 's suggestion of a new version of the suplex body for the Ghostbuster sounds very interesting for Koko. The clothesline is fine for him (and might be best overall move in the Hasbro line in general), I just felt a bit disappointed that they didn't get a bit more creative, especially since he has different body type to Owen (and certainly to Anvil). But I'll be getting it anyway of course

Something I meant to mention after listening to the Major Pod - the latest Heels and Faces Series 2 delay was the result of trying to figure out a good way to display Bruiser Brody’s chain in package.

delaying a whole series for something so minor??? Come on man . That was a joke. It didn’t come across as a joke. This is from the MWFP at about 31:30 mark (the ad free version; probably closer to 37-40 on the regular version). To put this into context, they were talking about this forum and the differences between Zombie’s delays and Epic Toys’ delays: Matt: “I was on this WrestlingFigs message board the other day; sometimes I login there and check out what people are saying…and there was someone who, you know, accusing me of being very impartial towards Zombie which, I guess I am because I think Zombie’s are the best - but that’s my opinion. Right? Also, Zombie is my friend. And also I know what is going on with Zombie behind the scenes. Like I know what is actually coming. I know what’s being done in the factory, so I’m a lot more, um, you know, I know that things are for instance- I’ll say this: I don’t care if he’s gonna...Zombie doesn’t listen to us anyway. Like I know Series 2 is delayed right now because they couldn’t figure out the way to fit Bruiser Brody’s chain in the package - which is such a minor thing - but Zombie is a stickler for detail. So he couldn’t figure out a way for it to look nice in the package. Right? So that is why it’s delayed.”

Matt said PowerTown figs were the best when he got the ones with the busted hip joints, so is he just flip-flopping or is he talking about the retro style figs?

It seems blatantly obvious that he was talking about this in terms of Hasbro/Retro style figures. Appearance wise, it is hard to argue that any company has made a better series than PowerTown. Storm and even Super7 have come close. Mattel has done some amazing things but are off in a number of ways. In other news… KWK showed off what appears to be a teaser for Mantaur’s entrance mask: http://instagram.com/p/CuYprLiuhWY

Series 2 is on the water based on Zombie's response in the comments section of that post. No update on when the boat will dock or when figs will ship but at least they are on their way now.

I don't listen to the podcast so I wanted more context. I don't necessarily think he's wrong, ZST's figures look amazing but it's also a question about what you want from a retro style line. It's clear in most cases they differ quite a lot from Hasbros in appearance, but quality and likeness-wise they're obviously superior.

That Raven looks amazing. Looking forward to it.
I was able to cherry pick from S2. Not too into that Sullivan look and zero interest in the Gage character. But S3… going to have the get the whole set. Close to perfect fits for the era I think most of us are looking for.

I think it will be One Man Gang, Tunney, and Slick for me. I just have no strong memories or feelings of Power and Glory. They always felt like a C-level team to me. The figures look great and I liked both guys as singles stars…it just isn’t a MUST for me even though they fit that time period just fine.

Bundy only one I really feel I needed, Raven more out of FOMO incase we ever get enough other WCW guys to fully flesh out a WCW shelf. Glad you guys are liking Raven, but eh, I'm not feeling it. Looks too realistic for me. More like a miniature statue for my likeing. Kinda hope one of the other companies eventually does him too and goes more faithful to the old school look.
