If anyone missed out on the ‘rare’ heels and faces series 1, they are back up for sale on the website! 😂

He probably just forgot he owns a second storage unit. Remembered. Looked in it. And was like, oh yeahhh I have these too.

Who was it on here that was told there’s no more stock available when his figures were crappy condition? Might want to have a word with zombie…
Meanwhile series 2 are currently into their 12th week (3 months, a quarter…any way you look at it, a long time!) at sea. Phileas Fogg Circumnavigated the world in less time.
I though no expense was spared in these “perfect” “premium” figures…guess that didn’t include transit since they’re travelling one below economy.

no exchanges, only more buys Initially when I had inquired about the exchange, I did also ask if I could purchase another Sabu, as I figured I’d just open the damaged one, his answer was the same, no additional inventory. How do you feel about this now? Do you have screenshots of these conversations?

The Zombie situation is hilarious. I cannot BELIEVE it is September 2023 and no Series 2 yet. It's absurd.
I love the Major Pod, but those guys have no legitimacy if they don't call him out on this loudly.

How do you feel about this now? Do you have screenshots of these conversations? I should still have the emails… In general, I think that some of these third party companies have mislead their customers, but honestly, I could care less at this point, because zombie’s gonna be zombie, he won’t change because he doesn’t have to…I’d be upset, but I was lucky enough to resell everything without losing any money and going forward, I will never order anything from ZST… I also avoided a seemingly similar, unpleasant situation with Rush because asylum was nice enough to issue a refund, when I requested. Now, I’m completely out of the third party retro game (also sold the Chella’s and even some of the Mattel’s)…I still love Hasbro’s and will stick with select Mattel releases, the entire Orange box was amazing and I just received Vader and King, both home runs imo!

Whilst I hate the complete blow out of shipping dates, near "imaginary" deadline schedules and the continued "last time offers" (and yet Series 1 is being offered yet again), I watched the Heels and Faces Series 2 in hand review between Sam Roberts and ZST again....and they look absolutely top notch. Everyone has the right to their opinion and what/where they spend their cash and who they support, but the ZST's output looks head and shoulders above anything and everything else across the competition.
Rush is an absolute debacle and I hope everyone get's either eventually gets their product or cash back (preferably cash back considering what has been produced).... KWK comes across incredibly shady and I'd be very cautious in handing over any money in that direction.... and I hope this is the start of some new positive steps forward for EPIC Toys with Demolition/Powers Of Pain as they emerge from the back lot of the Chella mess.
I'm not defending ZST's behaviour, business model and practices or if his product is/isn't the direct successor to the Hasbro line... but I'm very confident that when I do *finally get my Series 2 in hand, they will be incredibly detailed, and worthy of prime, front and centre positioning within the display cabinet. Something that can't necessarily be said for other lines in the market.

no indy company is producing action figures with Hasbro-style actions, they're just using the figure form and making figures based on that look/style
only Mattel are making figures which have the Hasbro-esque actions, but giving them a different look and feel

I love the Major Pod, but those guys have no legitimacy if they don't call him out on this loudly. Criticism seems only given to other companies, and considered negativity if it's given to the Major's own products, from what I've seen on here. Having no affiliations means that praise and criticism can be given out without bias, but once you inject business into the opinion, it's a whole different ballgame.

I've not seen any KWK products so far, but as long as they're nothing like Rush, they look good, pretty Hasbro-like, and he's got good names... As for his shadiness, I see barely a difference between him and ZST, quite frankly.
I'm always one for putting the product first before the producer, but at some point, you've got to ask if ZST is still actually producing any product when his product is still lost adrift in Kevin Costner's Waterworld.
It's like battered wife syndrome.
"Yeah, ZST is always late, he doesn't really have good people skills, he tends to lie, but eventually, way down the line, when I finally get his $50 figure, and the decals don't peel off upon opening it...I'm sure I'll really enjoy how it looks next to my Hasbro collection. Plus, he only slapped me twice this week!"

I posted this in the Mattel forum but I am also adding it here as it shows how the latest Retros stack up against the independent companies: Received the latest 4 pack and it’s a real mixed bag…I included comparison photos in all of my links below so that you can see how the measure up to and blend in with Hasbro, Grapplers & Gimmicks, Heels and Faces, Epic/Chella, Rush, and more. -Vader exceeded my expectations. http://instagram.com/p/Cw3k18qsJDM -The deco on Lawler is way above average. Makes others look underwhelming. His arms are as bad or worse than ZSTs: http://instagram.com/p/Cw3iD75xpdg -Paul Bearer is…fine. I compared him to a custom I bought years ago. http://instagram.com/p/Cw3giP5RzHc Undertaker is such a cheap and easy figure…totally unnecessary and a waste of a spot. That said, it looks good. I compare it to the original Hasbro and the Series 1 Retro. http://instagram.com/p/Cw3fXdJRORj Lawler is something I was still excited for but it let me down. The proportions feel off, the face isn’t great, and I still think the crown should have come off. The packaging sucks. I really don’t appreciate the change even though I’m a loose collector. Every one of my plastic protectors and cardboard backers appeared scuffed, dirty, bent, or slightly damaged. Not enough to cry a river about but I would prefer these to look MOC when they arrive. In addition to that, all of the figures looked dirty again. This has been a problem since the 4 packs started. This time though, there were random paint markings on the figures as well. Again, not enough to be really upset about but these are the same complaints we are tossing at other retro figure makers so I am holding Mattel to that same standard. Also worth noting, Lawler’s action arm came loose with some plastic shavings and a chip/scrape. It isn’t a big enough deal for me to contact Mattel but it was the icing on the cake for my disappointment with Lawler.

He's said enough absolutely intellectually- disabled things, though. So he's a bit less of a dick? Great, he should use that in his ad campaigns. "Zombie Sailor Toys: A Bit Less of A Dick."

New line coming from Mitch! http://instagram.com/p/Cw51lVtOCSg I know there are some who think this waters things down…but there are plenty of people I would love to see in this form factor. Will they be any good? Time will tell!

Not for nothing but didn’t KWK say Zombie did something pretty similar with his pins? I can’t keep up.
