For those talking about scale and likenesss, all the hasbro s weren't really to scale, look at Ravishing Rick Rudes figure, totally off and looked nothing like him. Even figures such as the 1st Big Boss man. Waaay too small compared to other wrestlers. Big Boss Man's head was like a pinhead compared to IRS's.

I just put a Max Moon in my cart and with shipping it's going to be $57. I'm going to have to think real hard if I want to spend $57 on this figure, when there aren't many original run Hasbros I spent that on.
Mantaur arguably needed the entrance garb, but if it would've driven the price down by $15, I would've been okay with no vest/gauntlets on Moon. it just covers the deco anyways

People who want to argue about those discussing scale are missing the point. It comes across as smug. We know that Hasbro figures had many different sizes. The hope is for these figures to consistently put out figures as close to the scale of the better looking figures that Hasbro released. That might all be subjective but it is worth discussing if you have an opinion on the matter. Is there a way to still buy the Mo? You can message Mitch to see if there are any still available (loose). You can also try to buy one of the NYCC exclusives being released this month. Your other option is to buy the one Epic Toys is releasing (eventually). |

After a busy week, I finally had time to sit down and get my hands on G&G’s Mabel and Mo (or Nelson and Bobby). Are the perfect? No. But they really capture the spirit of the original Hasbro figures. Closer than anyone else thus far. They feel fairly solid, have no problems standing, and display nicely in scale with other figures. The packaging design is nice but I would like some consistency moving forward. Had these been gold, they would have been a 21 out of 10!   Ultimately these figures are hard to top despite their minor flaws. I hope that others are able to add them to their collection and that Mitch does another run (in gold this time!). They will be taking the places of the original style orange card custom figures I purchased around 5 years ago. Great work hastteltoy |

Thank you! I have really enjoyed diving into these figures more and more. Haku and Men on a Mission have me jonesing to do more reviews. Thankfully I have 3 Heels and Faces figures coming within the next couple of weeks!
Still no updates on Savio Vega and The Godwins (which I have on preorder). It has been about a month since we saw the Dennis Knight package sample.
I was dragging my feet on Powers of Pain and Demolition and ended up missing the preorder. I don’t love Demolition’s look (even though they are my favorite tag team). Conversely, I never cared about Powers of Pain and I feel like they are some of the best looking Retros being made! Duke The Dumpster Droese will likely go on sale within the next week or two but I got itchy and decided to preorder The Headbangers from Figure Collections.
Next on my list: Black Strap Andre (on sale Black Friday), One Man Gang, Jack Tunney, Marc Mero, Epic Andre, and maaaybe Slick. And the Mattel Retros…but those are getting less and less exciting to me as time goes on. Hopefully I’ll have figured rolling in once every few months at this rate!
