As far as I’m aware, they have not had a series 1 update since August 11. They blamed it on something to do with the soft goods I believe. Taking preorders for series 2 seems like a dumpy thing to do in this climate. Yeah, I don't like that they won't even provide any kind of shipping estimate if you pre-order. Not a good look for Ethan Page as one of the owners. Just tell us! Wait, they got Ethan Page to buy in? Legit?

That might explain why he was defending it on Instagram.

Robbing Peter S3 preorders to pay Paul S2 shipments. ZST stated in the past that Series 3 will not have preorders and be the first series available for in stock orders.

Unfortunately there are some packaging issues with some of the MoM figures. Their loss is my gain though as Mitch is selling loose Men on a Mission figures. I’m no longer kicking myself for not buying them and can add them to my collection!

Got my MoM figs! Very pleased, I got 2 of each, like others said, I think Mitch is using boxes that are just a smidgen too narrow, so my cards also arrived warped. I opened the ones that looked worse, but the other 2 I think would flatten out if kept in a defender for a bit. But, I will probably end up recarding on custom cards anyway to match my other orange cards, so doesn't really matter to me.
Only critisism is I do wish he'd of stuck with the gold over the yellow, but in the end I still love them. And about 4 months turn around which is insane compared to the competition. In my books Mitch is now the king of retros! Bring on Bulldog, New Rockers, Wildman, Godwins, Koko, Savio etc!
I think the only figure he's produced or announced that I've skipped on was Smoketrain who falls just outside the eras I'm after. Think the guy really knows how to pick talent.

Mitch actually releases hasbro tribute figures. These other “companies” are more or less just render series. We’ve seen how many renders from other guys and very few products in hand

I hope the other companies can start cranking stuff out quicker though, there is so much announced that I want. Maybe they should be in talks with whatever factory is doing Mitch's stuff. Crazy to think though at this point G/G's already has more figs in my main display than H/F's or Chella/TFKAC. Granted I do own More Zombie figs, but not displaying non wrestlers (Earl) or WCW (Sabu), since I don't have enough space. Just doing in ring wrestlers WWF 89-96 for the moment. I do hope we get a ton more WCW though from all companies making Retros. That'll need to be a seperate display.

I'm not sure why anyone would believe ZST at this point...

ZST stated in the past that Series 3 will not have preorders and be the first series available for in stock orders. and yet he couldn't even tell his customers when Series 2 will actually be in stock. we've had months of "Shipping soon!!" comments but no actual "Due to arrive on ....." posts.
why? because he's too cheap to pay for air freight for his goods. after a year of waiting, the least he could have done is paid for the air freight to get Series 2 into his warehouse asap.
and he's been extremely clear, Series 3 will not be "in hand" in 2023. despite previously saying he was going to release 4 waves a year, he's not even managed to release one wave in 2023 yet

I predict Series 3 will be put up for purchase on Black Friday with enormous prices + huge shipping costs to get in-hand for Christmas.

Also, Black Strap Andre is being released as a Black Friday exclusive so the series 3 release is possible but a little doubtful.

I just recently became aware that "prototypes" (LOL!) of these figures (Chella/Epic, ZST and others) are being sold amongst collectors. Obviously so happy with the crap that arrived through the mailbox, they need more!
Everything just feels totally off. Unscrupulous sellers, poor quality, the list goes on.
I'm mystified by what I'm seeing.

Personally, I think it is neat to see some of the items in various states. The only ones I would consider buying would be Andre figures but I’m pretty sure their price wouldn’t be worth it to me. I think the packing errors of these figures are a weird one to collect but if it is making people happy, by all means! Here is a good account to see some of the items out there being bought: instagram.com/figurecollector29?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==

He seems to have epic Powers of Pain prototypes, and the abs look awful in my opinion…..

I don't see the point on collecting these personally but think of it this way, if someone is offering you 500 bucks (which he paid for Ethan Page proto according to those photos) why wouldn't the company take it when they get sent more than one proto/sample?

Just further adds to my suspicions about the people behind the scenes manufacturing "prototypes" and "test shots" just to sell on and make a bit extra on the side. Totally get the point about people being happy with it - I just question that when people are trying to sell it shortly after buying. The IG account you quoted has a host of those items up for sale. I feel for those dropping hundreds and hundreds on this stuff. Kind of adds to my whole feeling about this scene.

However, most will probably display them with their entrance gear which covers it nicely.
