Don't really like the Dino personally, but the one thing I'll say in its defence is that it's the only one out of the first series that looks close to Hasbro-like. It does look like if that had come out in the 90's it would fit right in, so kudos to Zombie on that one as he got that right.

I tend to open my packaging and have my figures loose so the packaging isn't a big deal for me.

I predict ZST will use “complaints” about the back of his carding to buy himself 6 more months

Having that expression on his face, the Dino would go well being displayed with Tippy’s custom figure of Wardy Joubert III 🍆

Dino almost looks like it could pass for a hasbro I think it's pretty close to what a Hasbro Dino would look like, albeit just with a modern finish. Overall I quite like the look of it and would pick one up along with Sabu. Hoping to have a chance to grab a Kevin Sullivan and possibly Raven as well.

I really wish ZST could have gotten the Hasbro sheen -- esp. on the Bravo figure

Yeah, I think the sheen would make them look more Hasbro-like. I also think he should have gone with the Greg Valentine Hasbro look/action for Dino, the build would be similar, and it would work for Dino's finisher - the sidewalk slam.

That certain sheen is what a lot of the non hasbro figures miss. I can only assume it was the type of paint at the time because customs, retros, heels and faces and chella don’t get it. However those bootlegs using repurposed and repainted parts - notably the simba ones have the shine

I kind of like the sheen when it comes to Hasbro, but admittedly when it comes to some new retros I'm okay without it, I'm thinking of Hayabusa in particular. Does Switchblade have the sheen? I feel like he does but I've not got him to hand ATM.

I think it must have been the plastic.

I was looking at the detailed shots of the Adam Bomb retro earlier and it's got a noticeable Charlie Sheen going on.
