Thought he was shutting those down on the 2nd.

I agree. ZST is going to negatively affect the Retro line. He's signing Legends we want to exclusive deals. Total bummer that WWE did not let Mattel go out and sign people directly.

I don't know -- I would have loved Hebner (though AEW issues), Slick, One Man Gang, Brooklyn Brawler, and more. Though some could say those are too niche. I guess we'll see who else he signs. I could see people like Ahmed Johnson, Duke Droese, Godwins, etc.
Hopefully we'll get retros we really want of people we know Mattel has -- Jerry Lawler, Vader, Mabel, and more...

Received the Mind of the Meanie two pack. Considering it was labled as damaged card, it's barely creased in the corner. It's honestly not damaged at all. Chella are fantastic, but I worry if they'll lose money doing this. Either way, very happy!

Can’t see Heels and Faces damaging the retro line; but should hopefully challenge them to bring their A-game - and that’ll only mean better selection of figures for us!

But I'm still wondering if there's some loop hole in these contracts where if the wrestlers wanted to sign with WWE for a legends deal, they still could and get made by Mattel. Bundy, Akeem (One Man Gang) and Jarrett are really the only ones Mattel would realistically go after. We've already seem the latter two in the legends line. |

I’m not saying people wouldn’t have wanted them, I’m saying WWE wouldn’t have signed them/Mattel wouldn’t have made them. I agree, it’s believed the concussion lawsuit put pay to wwe working with some talent and wwe is only going to go sign people they can make serious cash with. As much as I love the new gen era we won’t be seeing duke dumpster it mantaur anytime soon. Bryan Clark got the rights to all his characters when we let the trademarks expire. |

I don't agree neither. I think Zombie is doing us a great service here, most of the guys are guys WWE probably wouldn't work with anyway. And Jarrett went into the HoF how long ago now? I think if Mattel was going to get access to him it would have happened ages ago. And Zombies figures look way better than what Mattel has done so far, way closer to the Hasbro look than the retros. I think Zombie is way more in touch with what collectors really want than Mattel is, at least from the first time around. How I wish they would prove me wrong through at SDCC, but I can only wish. |

One of the announcements for Jarrett said he was going to be shown/offered/sold at SDCC. But, with SDCC being virtual it was going to be offered as a pre-order online. I may be mixing things up slightly, but, I think he was intended as a stand-alone figure from the beginning. 😊 |
