Honestly?
That Jarrett is probably the 2nd proto ZST has shown that looks more like a Hasbro than it does a modern Hasbro-style figure (the other being Dino). I'm still not gonna buy it, but I think most of the knocks on the execution are coming from the expectations established from his first round of paintmasters.

Best thing about this line for me is seeing the Ron Rudat sketches. I don't think the execution on any of them is there for me.
If I'm looking to expand my hasbro figures I want them to look and feel identical. These are modernised (hidden pins, no sheen) too much for my taste, and they're way too pricey to get into collecting as a separate line. I'm happy to just check out the new Ron Rudat sketches as they come.

The body is amazing. But especially in the later Hasbro series after 1-2, I can't think of many figures besides Flairs and many one or two more, that are worse headscans than Jarrett. (And I like the scans of Bravo, Sabu, and Hebner -- so I'm being honest).

But as for the figures themselves, I checked out on them a while ago for several reasons. But still cool to see them revealed I guess, whether I like them or not.

RVD and Fonzie together in the same scale is very tempting.

Bill Alfonso said that he signed an exclusive contract with Zombie Sailor and he, RVD and Sabu all have the same contract
But why can Mattel make RVD and why can Chella make Sabu when the contract is exclusive?

I could be wrong, but when he talked about the "same contract" I think he was referring to the initial payment and royalty structure, essentially saying he'll be making the same initial amount and % of sales as RVD and Sabu. Don;t think he wa sreffering to exclusivity at all in that portion.

It feels like ZST is over-stretching. I can't see enough Bill Alfonso's selling to justify the mold, but maybe I'm wrong

I can't see enough Bill Alfonso's selling to justify the mold, but maybe I'm wrong I'm not sure if this would be the first release, but I can see either an alternate attire two-pack with RVD (or three-pack with RVD and Sabu) being a good seller that would make up for the mold cost.

Wanted to thank everyone for doing a good job of keeping it civil. A few news notes: Chella is re-releasing Aldis but with different paint jobs. I think it was black, blue, purple, and completely gold. One had a bloody forehead as well. I’m set with the one I have but would have liked one of the other colors before I purchased the original. Next up, ZST announced series 5 consists of Danhausen, Kevin Sullivan, King Kong Bundy, Bruiser Brody, and Raven. Last but not least, a new figure announced that sounds fun: http://instagram.com/p/CR33dyrjHUq

FWIW, I asked Chella about the Jay White figure and they weren’t able to say much. However, they did say details would be coming soon. Yay!

Love that were getting Mr. Hughes! Now I'll have a complete KOTR 93' roster!
And is anyone else amazed that he doesn't look any older than he did in 93?

How many waves of signed talent is there now? I have Bravo on Pre-Order. It seems like every time I look at this thread, there is a new signed name. I look forward to many of these!
