Well if you were to say, at that time, "Are we getting more Fred Ottman/Tugboat figures lately?" the answer would be yes we are. My point still stands because it's two in a calendar year, and it will be his fifth elite overall in the line. Well yeah. As far as Waltman’s, I’m not sure why him having 5 overall figures is a bad thing when every one is from a distinctly different era. In all fairness? He is the originator of the term "X-Pac Heat". I mean, I never hated him, and I have no problem with us getting five (or more) figures of his, but maybe some people just don't appreciate him?

True, but the 99 attires mostly just have the tiny outline of either green/orange/pink around the black kickoads, while the 98 attires have full designs. Of course, there’s also the distinct possibility that not every one of these DX Army figures will be a 2-in-1. I get the feeling Chyna won’t be 2 in 1 Agreed on Chyna, I think that’s a bit of a given. But I’m waffling on Road Dogg/X-PAC/and especially Hunter. On the one hand, it would make sense to keep them all 2-in-ones, on the other I could see it being a case of getting 2 Billy looks out while they could, and just doing the other three in straight up military gear.

I mean that’s fine, and I certainly don’t think anyone should be forced to buy him. But when his career includes New Gen star, NWO 96 member, heel/face/heel again DX member, and NWO 2002 member, it kind of seems like a given to me that all his looks are going to be hit.

I really foresee Chyna being the odd one out as not 2-in-1. The rest should be fine to do with cloth goods but Chyna? Not so much. Unless they make the over-piece as soft rubber. But, then again, I don't know how much detail they will put in it. I really don't see Mattel making a bandolier as part of an attire.

I think all of them but Chyna are doable, the question is how much do they want to spend to make it happen? In particular X-Pac would need a ton of cloth and an alternate head

I wonder if Mattel will try for the WWE NWO versions of Booker and Shawn next? Feels like they're never doing Nash lol

Does he have a black eye in the segment? I think he just has dark makeup on to look like a dirty soldier, but Billy has a bit of that on as well, which isn't on the figure.

I don't think I said it was bad, just noticing we are getting multiple lately. And it's not bad, but you know I'd like a couple more British Bulldogs/Davey Boy Smith too.

I think Mattel has done a great job on Waltman so far... however I still want these: and then I will feel "complete" I would love either a 98 red/black Elite and/or a Summerslam 99 black/white/pink elite

That Black/White/Green X-Pac would be my pick, except then I'd be torn as to wanting to display him with the (hopeful) cloth goods off or on.

There are plenty of Waltman figures I still want to see...heel 123 Kid, Syxx with proper goatee (or clean shaven), the night after Wrestlemania 14 return X-Pac (to go with Best of Attitude HHH), 1999/2000 green and black singlet with DX jersey, and 2001 X-Factor X-Pac (preferably Summerslam 2001 attire). omg yes and yes!

Sorry to be a party pooper, but that Nash face scan is just okay. Something looks off - maybe the jaw is too wide. Hopefully it looks better in person.

Respect your opinion, but if you think that Nash scan is only okay you must be disappointed in the majority of the faces Mattel has made over the years. Would love to hear your take on Piper though as that is truly a dog ugly likeness. 😆

Every time I see the pic of Candice something doesn’t look right. I think the legs are too thick, and the upper legs too short.

It's weird b/c the Undertaker Entrance Greats (in grey attire) is spot-on face-wise. But his Elite 23 and recent Legends Series 9 bear little resemblance. Regarding Piper, here's where maybe my eyes/brain need a tune-up - I don't think it's that bad. But prob because it reminds me of CS Series 4 Piper from Jakks, so I have a reference point albeit an equally inaccurate one. Ending this on a high note, HOC Warrior (mullet) and HOC Dogg/Gunn are some of my favorite works from Mattel. Some of their recent Savages have gotten really good too. They really need to update Hogan. Recycling a 10-year old head on 2 Ultimate Editions is borderline unforgivable. Also their Basic 100 line still has some of their best scans - major jumps in quality for Rock, Austin, even HBK looked decent but I've yet to see a decent HBK face from any figure company. Curious to hear your thoughts
