What does making him the chase accomplish? How many people are going to buy both? It sells more than if only one version was made. A person who just wants a JYD will buy either, a collector who wants both will buy both, that’s 3 sales instead of 2. Nash will move all his units regardless, JYD needs the boost I just doubt there are very many collectors who will feel the need to own both, outside of a handful of completists. |

Nothing for me. I was interested to see if they would try to get away with the lips deco on Gunn since it would be under clothes. Looks like still a no go.

Is it just me or does warlord's face paint look abit off? Plus it looks like his legs are thinner than the first pic we saw.

I think these look AMAZING.
I for one love all the Legends, including Piper. The MOTU are amazing. Even the Basics of Lumis and Atlas are great.
I wonder how Braun will sell; he usually warms, but will people think this is hast figure. I 100% know WWE will rehire him in a year or two (maybe less), but wonder how his release will affect sales. I wonder if the kids -- who I assume buy most of his figures -- even realize he's been released

Is anyone else annoyed by that 2006 DX logo being all over these DX army packages. I get that they're trying to mirror the nWo figures, but it's just wrong for the era.
Would love to see a photo comparison if you could do it

WHY MUST THEY TORMENT ME?? They release a JYD where he stole Harley's crown, but I will never get my hand on a KHR unless they re-release it! Wait a sec, JYD wore white at WM3, and this fig is in red. Was there another segment where he stole Race's crown while wearing red, leading up to WM3? (It's been a LONG time & my memory is fuzzy) There was! At the same Saturday Night’s Main Event in February 1987 that Hogan faced Mr Wonderful in the cage, JYD fought Harley and stole the crown and robe, and he wore the red. Especially since it’s different. It’s not a main line release packed 1 per case so won’t have the same issues warming like his previous fig. |

Just realised the JYD head is a new scan. WHY?! Why would you do a new head and not give us a head with a bigger fro? the other short haired scan is perfect. Give us two freaking heads!
The afro version would match the dark blue attire perfectly and give us a LJN style JYD also. And for those of you complaining about the hair colour of Piper I feel your pain. I still can't believe we are getting a ginger Big John Studd. That's it, I am done complaining for the night.

Some of us collect mid 80s WWF and he was a huge star then. His last figure was elite 33. I don't think there is any legend that should be off the table. I would even love another Tito! |

I think at least the red one makes sense. Not everyone has been collecting since day one and collects on ebay etc. Having him on the pegs is a good chance for newer collectors to add the dog and a lot of jyd fans might want two. I agree three is pushing it. |

So disappointed in that Legends set...That era of Piper needs a darker kilt with blue in it. He wasn't wearing a bright red one at that point (or at least not very often). Another later-98 Billy attire? What is it going to take to get an early-mid 98 Billy? If they wanted him to have black boots, why not have given him the black or blue long tights that he wore in 97 and early-98? And instead of Kevin Nash being the chase (either that attire and all red, or 2002/3 versions), we get JYD as a chase? When did JYD wear dark blue? And who is going to need both, outside of completists? He wore blue every now and then. Looks like around 1984/85.  Personally, I would have preferred the light blue from his Mid South days.  |

I for one am totally stoked to get JYD as the chase....I love it....I will definitely be buying both to go with the E33 I have of him....can’t wait!!!
