So disappointed in that Legends set...That era of Piper needs a darker kilt with blue in it. He wasn't wearing a bright red one at that point (or at least not very often). Another later-98 Billy attire? What is it going to take to get an early-mid 98 Billy? If they wanted him to have black boots, why not have given him the black or blue long tights that he wore in 97 and early-98? And instead of Kevin Nash being the chase (either that attire and all red, or 2002/3 versions), we get JYD as a chase? When did JYD wear dark blue? And who is going to need both, outside of completists? You want JYD to sit on shelves for 2 years again? Making him the chase was the only logical choice What does making him the chase accomplish? How many people are going to buy both? |

Legends 12 has 3/4 pick-ups for me. I had the JYD Bendie so his red tights look is iconic for me. Kevin Nash and Billy Gunn look good, I'm looking forward to getting the rest of DX Army. My main issue with Piper is he looks too old in the face, and the hair doesn't help.
I am a belt collector, so I will be picking up Escobar and Crews in blue. The attires on Asuka and Candice look great. Asuka's face is decent, maybe it looks better in person. I am happy with my E50 Warlord so I won't go out of my way to hunt for this one. I will pick it up in the unlikely event that I see it stores.
The only basic I will be getting is Chelsea, since this will be her only figure. I was going to skip the chase, but the detailing is better on the black gear than the purple. I want to add Lumis and Atlas to my collection, but I will wait for their elites, assuming they won't be fired in next month's cull.

Dexter Lumis will be a definite pick up. Maybe MotWWEU Sgt. Slaughter, Jake Atlas, and Chelsea Green if I can find them conveniently. Guess the Billy Gunn figure is evidence that these figures and waves are planned, executed, and produced years in advance. He has been with AEW for nearly 2 and a half years!! Unless there has been some side deal? I would imagine it's similar to Jake, where his Legends/merchandise deal was still in place for however much longer it's signed for. |

An interesting note on the WWE/AEW merch convo, Homage just released a Goldust WWE tee. They released that shirt a few years ago, although it does seem to have been restocked on the site. No Goldust merch on WWE Shop though. |

Wasn't gonna get this Otis but after seeing it I changed my mind. Gonna get at least two Escobar maybe get a third to get signed later and Candice and Asuka from 87. Might get Nash and Billy but not a huge need for either.

The only thing worth having from the Piper is the shirt and black boots. The kilt is not right and the head scan is ungodly. I guess Bill must have had the coke bottle glasses on when he approved it.

That the WWE actually gave him some control/ability to use the Goldust gimmick outside of WWE. That might be why stuff like this is popping up. |

It sells more than if only one version was made. A person who just wants a JYD will buy either, a collector who wants both will buy both, that’s 3 sales instead of 2. Nash will move all his units regardless, JYD needs the boost |
