That was weird. It was like, "lets have everything bad that can possibly happen to the Avengers happen ALL AT ONCE!" Vision must have been reprogrammed by Bin Laden. What was up with him flying the Quinjet into the mansion?

It's Avengers: Diassembled, actually. You probably saw Cap and Iron man on the cover of Thor, which is currently in a "Prologue" of sorts. I believe Avengers #500 ships in late August, but I could be wrong.
I'm not happy with the decision to put Brian Michael Bendis on Avengers. I don't like his writning of peopl in tights (as I said in the official thread), and I don't like that he's saying his story is going to be so great. We're always promised "groundbreaking" stories, and they are rarely delivered. Having every Avenger, ever, in an issue is not a big deal. Maybe if Perez and Busiek hadn't done it so flawlessly in their Avengers run (not to mention Avengers/JLA), maybe it'd be a big deal.
I'm even less happy about the fact that Bendis got to choose the creative team for the Avengers family books. Dan Jurgens, who was doing fantastic job on Thor ever since it rebooted with a new #1 six years ago, was kicked of in favor of the guy who draws Bendis' creator owned book "Powers." Explain how that's fair?
Nevertheless, I'll be reading it, becuase I love the Avengers, and I know Benids won't last more than a year.
