With the new Icons documentary being released, could it finally be time for a new Lex Luger figure? It's been 3 years since his last one (in the JJ Dillon BAF set), but I'm hoping that streak will be broken soon. To coincide with the documentary, WWE has put out a gallery of unseen Lex photos on their website. Personally, I would want a 2-in-one of 97 Luger (black trunks, ponytail) with cloth jeans and Wolfpac tank.

I require 3 Lugers.
1) blue trunks & long white boots with WCW Title. It can double as his heel champ run & early 90s face stuff.
2) Wolfpac Luger. Ponytail headsculpt, black trunks, long red/black boots & red nWo shirt with black writing. I presume like the other Wolfpac guys this would be an rsc exclusive.
3) A basic luger with ponytail headsculpt so I can finish off my elite 97 Lex.

Personally, I would want a 2-in-one of 97 Luger (black trunks, ponytail) with cloth jeans and Wolfpac tank. The only problem is that Luger wore white wrist tape and boots in 97 and black with the Wolfpac...Plus, moulded jeans (like the Best of Attitude HHH) would look a lot better than soft goods pants. I think that between the Legends line, Elite line, and RSC Exclusives, they could find room for both (although given how long it's been without any, perhaps that's unrealistic). |

I just want a ponytail Luger in basic. Remember that Bash at the Beach 3-pack with the painted face and ponytail? I want that head without the face paint for a head swap. I will put that on the Bash at the Beach Luger and a second one on that Network Spotlight Mr. McMahon for a Wolfpack Luger.

Why we’re still waiting on his Wolfpac figure is beyond me. They fired off Nash, Macho and Sting and then just gave up apparently.

I don't care what attire, just use his Bash at Beach 3-pack head on a figure, minus the face paint of course.
Since I'm becoming tired of ring gear figures for some reason, I'd like a deck of the Intrepid lex with soft goods shirt, and while I know this is a bad idea, I'd like a Nitro debut Lex.

Rereleasing the batb without face paint is the easiest layup Mattel has surely? Throw in the us title and people would go nuts.

Overall, I would prefer just a Wolfpac version with molded jeans, but like you said, the fact that we haven’t gotten one in years seems to indicate that there aren’t many slots for a Luger in Mattel’s mind right now, and looking at what they’ve done with Sid and the DX Army, 2-in-1’s seem back in vogue at the moment. |
