Steve has said in the question thread multiple times that first time in the line legends are coming.......but who could they be??? I'm still thinking The Steiner Brothers are going to be the big surprise with Rick's son having the pontential to be a major guy in the near future. I would also love to see both the Midnight and Rock and Roll Express. What do you guys think?? Will we see first time legends at Comic Con???

I mean even before yesterday's horrible news I'd have loved a Patriot figure...

It honestly doesn’t matter, do you realize how hard they’re making it to find these figures?

Id really like to think they have some gems in the works, but 5 sets in since the revamp and its all repaints, its not looking good that one or 2 sets havent had new characters yet

They are batting 1 out of 31* in the Legends relaunch with FTITL names. At this point anything is better than nothing.
*if the rumored line ups are correct for 13-15

Hoping it’s Tom Billington’s family who signed a legends deal. I’d love a Dynamite Kid!

I have no idea. I would of never expected to see some of the ones we have got lately like Mae Young, Rooster, Patterson etc so it could be anybody.

And disappointing. Maybe they've decided to keep FTITL figures for the main line and/or Collector's Editions though(?)

I'm still waiting for them to "find a spot" for Marlena. I know they plan things out a year in advance, but it's been almost 2 years since that Goldust/Marlena 2-pack got cancelled.

Could be guys working for WWE that they signed to a merch deal. Maybe Brother Love. Possibly Jarrett but I don’t know considering he signed with Zombie. Kidman maybe. Prince Albert they probably would consider FTITL since Tensai and Sweet T were different characters and I don’t think acknowledged he was ever Albert even tho the fans did. Norman Smiley is another.

Brother Love seems like one we’ve asked for since Bruce has been back that seems possible. I’m sure he’s on Mattel’s list when they submit.
Likewise, Jeff Jarrett is in the same boat. The Anthem lawsuit is settled. We know the Zombie figure is happening. So it seems reasonable he’s available to sign unless he’s just staying away to protect the podcast.
I’m always up for Kidman but they haven’t signed him in a decade.
My guess is that it won’t be Crush and Adam Bomb since Clarke said we are likely getting Kronik from Chella after his Bomb figures. I think that sucks because I still want lots of different Crush figures, and would love Kronik from Mattel.
No expectations though. We’ve gotten so few new legends lately. So I’m not going to get my hopes up on anyone.

There should be at least a few folks who are available and haven't been made. But judging by talent in other properties, it's a short list.
Eve Torres (not sure if she had figures while still active) Terri Runnels (cancelled BP with Goldust, a single release seems unlikely) Molly Holly Chief Jay Strongbow Tatsumi Fujinami (pretty sure Steve or Bill said he won't be made) Albert Norman Smiley
It's possible more folks have been signed. But recent history has been that signees will most likely appear in some other licensed media before Mattel can produce them just to the production schedules. That's been true for everyone from bigger names like Mr. T and Chyna to less notables like Don Muraco, Mae Young, Michael Hayes, etc.
Don't get your hopes up.

Her one in the white is still one of my favorite female figures. And good call on Molly Holly. She’s probably pretty likely and definitely welcomed.

The WWE Champions mobile game had Hogan, Mr T, Chyna, and others right before Mattel announced figures of the same talent. Interestingly enough, Gobbledy Gooker was added to the game recently. Really think we see Gooker announced soon. Probably Mattel Creations or SDCC exclusive?

Just got Kama yesterday at Walmart, and noticed his torso could make for a great Rick Steiner.

Doesn't mean there aren't other names available. But it's been pretty consistent for a few years now - there are maybe half a dozen first time legends in a given year, and most are store exclusives in one form or another. Nothing we've seen should give us any reason to expect otherwise this year. And in a year where WWE made a ton of firings across all departments, on screen and off, I'd be surprised if signing more legends contracts was a priority in any way, shape, or form.
