Was just watching clips of Hogan when he was in The New Blood and I have never been able to get into it. It's the most ECW version of Hogan we got. This version of Hogan just seemed so out of place like he was trying to hang out in a changing society. And I'm saying this as someone who likes Hogan
I feel like they could have made him a bit edgier but I don't know exactly how because he kind of already did that in his Bash at Beach promo telling fans to stick it

Ahhh the Bash situation.... the biggest work in wrestling when it comes to WCW. Hogan came out without his kneepads on and we are expected to believe he was gonna wrestle a match with Jeff Jarrett?? And in the middle of the card at that?? HA!
I did like the New Blood vs. Millionaires Club story line, but making the Millionaires Club the good guys in it was going against everything that was logical. For years, fans said they wanted "new blood" - no pun intended - to be in the main events and winning title belts, and instead we are to believe that we have the need to boo Kidman, Booker T, Shane Douglas, Buff Bagwell and others over Hogan, Sid, Luger, etc.?? Just a weird time for WCW.

Kidman feuding with Hogan felt weird as hell.Just a few years prior he was in the cruiserweight scene and now in 00 he's facing one of the top names in the company.
And the name ''Millionaires Club'' screamed heels yet they were the faces. Just an all around weird angle.
Fun fact-Randy Savage last WCW appearance was helping out the MC in a battle royal on Thunder that year.
