I watched this match on July 4th for the first time in like a decade despite not being a fan of patriotism or Sting and really enjoyed it. It’s so hard to beat Flair in his prime.

historic moment and ppv! my fav sting outfit as well! event was packed with fun matches stuff. the big 6 man tag vs the horseman that went way too short tho. we had luger vs young undertaker as well! Attachment Deleted |

Great American Bash 90 may have been the best PPV for WCW that year.
Sting vs. Flair is great, but what about Southern Boys vs. Midnight Express for the US Tag Titles?!?! Amazing!!!
We also get Rock N Roll Express having their final tag title shot at a PPV for WCW against Doom as well.
A real fun show from top to bottom!

Vader squashing Z-Man was also great. Loved the way they built him up as a monster here

Every time I watch this PPV I keep thinking the ref didn’t count three on the Pillman match. But then they do the slow motion replay and sure enough he did count three. But it seems so fast in real time. lol
And on a side note I still wish I had picked up a second Mattel IRS when it was released to make a WCW Captain Mike.
