Going with a GI Joe version of Slaughter That would be a good guess for an exclusive, but I'm not sure it fits with the other spoiler:
"A lot of people are gonna be happy but some will feel they wasted the spot on this HOF’er."
Would a lot of people be happy for a GI Joe version of Slaughter (wouldn't that look very similar to his HOF fig?)? Unless maybe it is in the style of old school GI Joe dolls.
Sounds like it is Hogan to me. He has a huge fan base that want figs released, but on the flip side, it could be viewed as a waste because he is always going to have figures released as long as he is signed (already has several with more on the way), his character/looks are boring (no offense to Hogan fans), and people are still anti-Hogan due to his comments.
Steve did say a couple months ago that Hogan fans would be happy soon so I think he is going to def be part of the Mattel creations and/or SDCC exclusive.

Former WWF Champion...so that is 79-02. That is 22 individuals. Jericho and Big Show are in AEW, that is 20. Taker is not in the Hall of Fame, down to 19. Sid is not in the Hall, down to 18. The Rock is not in the Hall, down to 17. Angle has said he didn't sign a Legends deal so we can take him for his word, down to 16.....15.....14.....13....carry the 4.....I know who it is.

If it is not Hogan (assuming that includes "Mr. America" whose identity was never revealed), then I'm going with Andre (former WWF champion/HOF and mainstream recognition). Would be considered a waste of a spot because his main looks have been done and any remaining (suit/Princess Bride) are niche.
Outside the box could be a huge Giantsized figure of Andre

Wwf champ, hall of fame, “out of the box” could mean can. Someone said “heavy metal” that could also apply to the can I guess lol. I could see this. |

Possibly, but the point of SDCC exclusives are the packing and branding. At least the last couple. Slim Jim and WM boxes. So it would just have to be a camo or Stars and Stripes box without reference to GI Joe. Again just speculating, but seems like a better release for just a Legends line of it’s just attire. |

With so many crossover/mainstream exclusives they could pick, a Mankind figure in Chef Boyardee packaging would definitely be disappointing for me. If true, the heavy metal clue is very clever since we would associate it with music and not a metal can.

Seems like you want attention or people to beg you for more info - I'm respecting your stance that you don't want to spoil it (or get people in trouble that told you) so it's a little confusing as to why you keep on confirming who it isn't when people are having fun speculating.
