Man, what a sad story. Amazing look, very athletic, not bad on the mic. Got a good push during his ‘98-‘04 run, multiple Tag, IC, WCW US Titles. Got to work with all the biggest names and have Stacy as a valet. Second ‘06-‘07 run was good too, got to work with Kelly Kelly and shoot for the ECW Title. But to have been released and not even live past 2009 is just awful in my opinion. The guy could’ve given so much more, and would’ve been a good agent or producer by now. What do you think Test’s legacy will be?

I feel Triple H hated him or was at least not a fan of him. Every time Test got pushed in the WWF was when Triple H was injured. He had a great 2001 with WCW Tag, WWF Tag and WWF IC and it was all when Triple H was gone.
I believe I did hear rumours that Test and Stephanie were legit dating in 1999. If that's the truth, then I could see Triple H being a jerk towards Test after that. Same kind of how Chyna got let go in 2001 and wasn't ever wanted back in the WWE for anything once Stephanie and Triple H became a legit couple.

Test was a good looking guy, I think he legitimately dated Stephanie, Stacy, and Kelly. It’s a shame that backstage politics were used against a guy with so much talent and potential. Imagine if he had married Stephanie and held a high position in the company today. His early stuff with Shane was really good, and he never even got a PPV match with Triple H after the kidnapping. As a matter of fact, Chyna and Test are both gone. Chilling to think.

He had a ton of potential, but I don't think the whole package every came together fully. Of his 2 runs I think I'd go with the WWECW run over his attitude era stuff.

Really good big hoss wrestler, always a great hand in the midcard. When he cut his hair, changed his look & got bigger is when I feel he started to go downhill. Bad creative & rarely had any good matches then. From 2000-2002 he was at his best

I always saw him as a Kevin Nash clone. If he had debuted early 90s guy would have been a star

I really liked Test growing up; think it was the fact he had a pretty good and fun to watch move set; gutwrench power bomb, flying elbow drop and full nelson slam have always been faves of mine plus he had a killer big boot. It was very obvious he didn’t quite have ‘it’ to be a huge star; his charisma was never top level but he did well where he was positioned and think could have been a solid ongoing IC title guy.

Why would HHH hold a grudge against Test, if anyone it should have been Test who held a grudge against HHH and Vince. I thought the Test/Stephanie angle was going great, it was some wholesome entertainment and you really believed there could be something between those two. But I guess HHH is that type of guy who can't just be happy being in the financial and powerful position he has, he has to be jealous of the original choice from management to have worked the potential wedding gimmick with his wife.

Underrated talent who happened to be in the wrong era. Test was super athletic and agile for a guy his size, had a cool theme, and could get over as a face or heel. The problem was he was competing with legends like Austin, Rock, Foley, Taker, HHH, etc…had he come around a decade later than he did, I have no doubt he’d had won a world title at some point.

My favorite Test era was during the UnAmericans run followed by his ECW run. I found him incredibly boring until those 2 stages of his career.

Because Test was a threat to his spot. Jericho has said before that Triple H tried to bury him when he first got to the WWF because he felt like Jericho could take his spot. It wouldn't be shocking if he did the same to Test. How can you explain the only times that Test got pushed were when Triple H was injured.

I guess I didn't keep following wrestling much after early 2002 so if Test was still around and popular I wouldn't have seen it. I would have figured with 2 years of dating Stephanie, HHH's spot would have been set in stone.

Test is one of the most underrated wrestlers ever. He's one of the all-time biggest missed opportunities in wrestling. But what he did accomplish was damn good. #Test4WWEHOF2022

Solid mid card big man who’s career was more romantized after death.
His best match was against Shane

If Test came to WWE in like 07-2012 timeframe he would of been a world champ always liked Test

In late 99 he was over like crazy and could've become a top player in the company. Once he turned heel in 2000 he sunk down the card big time and never really recovered.
He was too good for the role they gave him.

2001 Test was one of my favorites - the whole can't get fired thing was great.
They never really gave him that big feud he needed, he had some big victories and matches but he needed a 3-6 month feud that ended in a big PPV match I think to get to the next level...and Steiner wasn't it
