The greatest tag team champion in WWF history... I'm surprised they didn't keep using the Big Gold Belt, they were covering it up on the TV broadcasts and Flair actually owned the belt, so I wonder what the issue was with them showing it to live audiences.

This feud didn't make a lot of sense to me at the time. Bret just turned-on Bischoff, Hogan and the NWO, so they were clearly trying to make him a good guy. Why then, would they turn around and put him in a feud with probably the #2 most popular guy in the company, Ric Flair. And, on top of that, have Bret going around calling himself the best there is, best there was, and best there every will be, over Flair in horsemen country. Not the best way to get the fans on Bret's side.

I can understand putting em with Flair so he gets a big win in the end but yeah saying that in Horsemen country wasnt the greatest idea. But this is WCW we're talking about here. they were immune to stuff like that

Yep. Though, it appears that Kevin Sullivan had some decent ideas, but he was voted down. He wanted to put Bret in with Sting and Hogan right away, but that didn't happen.

Geez, small crowd. Where did this happen?[/quote] This photo circulated a few years ago. I think it was said it was maybe a benefit show for a school where WWF sent wrestlers. Some said it was post WWF (given the small crowd and Yoko's beard) but myself and other suspected it was during Typhoon's summer 194 return and Yoko being off TV. The beard is confusing as he didn't have it at Survivor Series but had it at Wrestlemania XI but Typhoon was gone from WWF at that point. It couldn't be a post WWF run as Fuji was probably not with Yoko at that point and Yoko didn't look so huge. I was at a Hershey show with Yoko/Typhoon late June 94 and he didn't have the beard. I just saw the Frank Boris watermark. I believe he used to post her almost 10 years ago. He attended some shows and took pics (maybe have been a local photographer). He's based in MD IIRC. It being a potential school venue and having his watermark makes some sense.

I believe Typhoon returned for the summer of 1994 and took over the bookings of Earthquake's after he quit.

I think Flair had returned the belt to WCW. The Tag Belt is missing the "Tag Team" plate if you look close. They made a belt for Flair to use. 1.bp.blogspot.com/-dc92R_7Tolo/UljcxlrE42I/AAAAAAAACxM/5Igl2m801ts/s1600/WspamlairWorld-797942.jpg

Geez, small crowd. Where did this happen? While I'm not certain, I had read that it was from the June 24th 1994 house show in Canada that was a benefit with only 1,000 people. But as jason1980s pointed out the beard and Frank Boris mark kind of put doubt into that being the date. And around this time they had a match on Superstars and Yoko didn't have the beard. Maybe he can grow it super fast or something.

Geez, small crowd. Where did this happen? It's clearly not in a WWF ring. It's too small, plus look at the turnbuckle covers...
