Obviously one of his main functions right now is to help develop and put over young talent, but I’m sure he’d love to hold another championship or two; plus, building up his resume makes the younger talents who eventually go over him in matches and programs look even better. Could you see Jericho eventually holding the AEW Title again?

Nope. I think his time is done on top. He doesn’t need the title.

I actually think he's building this thing with mjf to retire and shift to commentary when he loses. I could be wrong

unless he brought back the couple steps he's lost, I'd say absolutely not. too many other talents with huge potential ready and able.

Never say never, but highly unlikely.

I’ll echo everyone else’s sentiments and say no, I really don’t see it now. He was the perfect inaugural champion, but they have a pretty good roster now. He damn sure doesn’t need it, and he’s noticeably lost steps even over the past two years. I hope he sticks around, because he’s a tremendous asset more than just in the ring. He’s easily the most important Legend they have, arguably in the running for top 10 of the TV era, and easily in the top ten of the past 20 years. Selfishly though I’d salivate at the thought of a Jericho/Black program .

Perhaps Tag Team champion with Sami, but World? No I think that it'll be his last reign, there are far too many, up and coming talent coming through. That will benefit from being champion. It's exciting to see!

Yep, I can't see him getting another run as World Champ. Maybe get an opportunity or two but there are too many young lions on the roster as it is, and unfortunately too many of them are at risk of not getting their due.

He can’t keep up with that main event in ring style anymore. They have been smart keeping him in mostly multi man matches since his title reign ended.

Not at this moment, he had his reign.

I think so, it's a great boost for an up and coming talent to take gold from a talent like Jericho, Jungle Boy or Darby could have their careers legitimised by going over a wrestling legend like Jericho.

I would like to see him have a short reign while as a babyface. Although only if he trims down to his 2012-2014 size

As of now, not likely. He was a big-name for them to build around to start the company so it made sense to put the belt on him at the time. Now he seems happy putting over younger stars and doing commentary. I see him slowly transitioning to a full time commentator over time but once in a while will step back in the ring to help someone get over.

He doesn’t need it again, but yes I could see him as a champion again. With his style he’s still believable in the ring. So yes I could see him putting some credibility to a title if he had it. Now Matt Hardy on the other hand shouldn’t be near any title or title match because he looks and moves like a broken down wrestler.

i'd like to see him hold the gold again, but not for a few years. flair retired (for the most part, not counting tna) at 59,though never held a world title during his last run with wwe. i could jericho going for as long but holding heavyweight gold at an older age (during flair's last run with the big gold in wcw he was 51,i could see jericho having a final run as champ at 55 or so).

I could but it shouldn’t happen. Kinda feels like he’s on his retirement tour in a way
