He wasn’t a heel very much in his 30 years, but which of the three did you enjoy most?
I’d actually go with 2002 biker. Loved his programs then, from RVD to Rock to Flair to Austin to Hogan to Trip to finally dropping the strap to Rock with Angle also involved in a three-way feud. The short red hair worked, his mic work was spot on, and of course making Dreamer drink his tobacco spit was highly memorable. Good stuff all the way around.

Have to go with early 90s Undertaker. Great stuff. As a 10 year old I was truly scared of him.

When he turned on JR I was furious. He was so heely. Although not an actual heel run I disliked Taker most during the Invasion, his work was pretty bad then.

Yeah, creative didn’t give him much aside from Kanyon/DDP, Kronik, and Booker. It was a weird time where one of the all-time greats was given…basically nothing. I guess at the time the focus was so much on Rock, Austin, Angle, even Jericho, it was hard to figure ‘Taker in.

Soft spot for MOD because that's around when I first started watching WWF on a regular basis, but Big Evil was too fantastically performed. Granted him a far greater range of emotion.

Definitely his debut up until saving Elizabeth and Randy from Snake Roberts chair shot situation.

Ministry. Those promos and his aura were spine tingling.

MOD; the in ring work was a little tough since Taker was working hurt. But iconic and wish we got better outcome to the Higher Power Big Evil was awesome though too; but MOD was the best

I love the early years of Taker, but for what it was the foundation of. Pre-'96 Taker is kinda hard to watch these days considering what he went on to do. Ministry Taker is awesome, but I've always preferred '98 anti-hero Undertaker because that's the version in WWF Attitude. Of course my favorite iteration of Taker is the mid-late 2000's super athletic best bout machine Taker. Which is why I've always loved Big Evil Taker, that's my favorite Taker heel run. Taker with short hair is weird as hell but for this character it worked better than 2010's Taker. Also the Big Evil theme song is great, but the best version was when he was a babyface in late '02. The instrumental version kinda sucks, but the lyrics version rules. Big Evil Taker was where he started being more athletic, The American Badass was an era where he had weight issues ad what not but by late '01 when he turned heel he was down to a good weight and was working better than ever. Big Evil is the foundation for what Taker would become in his mid-late 00's peak.

Western mortician is the only undertaker I like 2007 Taker is the best version of Taker, 1998 is number two. These are the rules.
