Still annoying to see the complete lack of Billy Gunn deliveries to the Texas market. Plenty of Pipers though...

Billy Gunn has yet to hit Houston. Very frustrating. I have JYD via online and found Piper and Nash in stores (the only Nash I've seen actually). I haven't seen a single Gunn online or in stores here in my local market. Very frustrating. I live just north of Houston and I’ve only found Nash & Piper. I go every few days to 3 different Targets looking for JYD and Gunn.

Actually, wouldn't the figure you think would sell the worst be the best option for the chase? They don't make any more of the figure with the chase than the others in the set, and having two different looks for that figure would help sells. For instance, if they made 1,000 figures of JYD (granted no where near the actual numbers) in just the red tights, and only 500 want the figure, then you are left with 500 figures no one purchases (minus if some people purchase 2, one for MOC, one to open. Or customizers). But, if they make 1000 JYD figures (750 red tights, 250 blue tights), and still only 500 people want the figure, some of those people may purchase one of the red and one of the blue because they want both version, now you are only left with 250 figures that no one wants (again, minus if some people purchase 2, one for MOC, one to open. Or customizers). It seems like the chase would help sell more of the total number of figures made. I guess you do have a point there, but then again it works both ways? What if you only kinda casually like JYD and want his figure, but you're like "I'll pass on the red just incase I can find the blue down the line, I'm not buying him twice". I feel like people are less willing to buy both when it's someone like that, than when it's a DX or NWO member for example. I'd have short packed JYD because the demand just isn't gonna be there for JYD in (almost (2022). It's not like it's his first figure, and neither the red or blue are his most iconic looks either. You think? I'd say red is his most iconic look. Seems like he wore that often during the first part of his WWF run when he was still quite popular. And it was also the look that LJN used for his figures and what he wore on the cartoon show.

I'm glad Mattel switched to individual cases as it makes it easier for them to clearance out the shelf warmers. JYD's Elite 33 hung around forever around here the first time around. He, just like John Studd, is destined for the clearance aisle in the future. Same with that upcoming Bob Orton Jr. Unless your name is Hogan, Savage or Warrior, 80s guys just don't move like they use to. Even Piper is hanging around on shelves a little bit.

Pretty sure all his Mania appearances are in his white gear, and it’s what they go with when he gets figures first. That’s what I always think of when I think of JYD anyway

Folks, can I ask a (perhaps silly) question. I'm in Ireland so the legends line is completely alien to me (we don't get it). Can I ask, if you were an average american that wandered into your average Target, what Legends series is it that's actually on the shelves at the moment? (Ive befriended an american chap on facebook and might ask him to keep an eye out for me, for 'rasslers that i want, but ive no idea whats currently available and dont want to mention figures that arent gonna appear for months, or that are long gone). Thank you.
EDIT: Reading here, it seems 11 is on shelves and 12 is slowly dripping into circulation?

This is accurate for the Targets in my area.

I'd say 11 is pretty much gone at this point. There's a few Studds on clearance, but I can't remember the last time I saw a Hall, Savage or Bigelow. 12 is out in full force at this point, but with the new distribution model, it seems different markets are being saturated with one particular figure while being scarce on others. Nash seems to be the rarest of the set in all markets. Here in Texas I'm seeing plenty of Pipers and JYD's but have yet to see a single Billy Gunn.

How much is Studd clearanced to in stores? My local Targets don’t have any Legends on shelves. I got studd for right under 7 bucks a few weeks ago. Besides heenan and cena hes the only other legend ive seen clearanced. And only one of him while multiples of heenan and cena.

Saw a Cena today at a toy store for $30. Ridiculous.

Any idea when preorders for L13 will be going up? Also, I’m jealous of people finding some on clearance...I’ve barely seen any in stores, let alone clearance.

Still annoying to see the complete lack of Billy Gunn deliveries to the Texas market. Plenty of Pipers though... You can add northwest Arkansas and all of Oklahoma to that, with the lack of Gunns. Nearly every Target got Piper & Nash. Only 1/8 OKC Targets got JYD (1 case), & not a single Target has yet to see Gunn.

Said Nash was available like 6 times on the app yesterday and every order of mine got cancelled. Is it because I’ve received a figure already from the preorder or is it some kind of supply screw up?

This series is such a $hit show it’s annoying. I shouldn’t have to pay $50+ for a DDP. Just put them all on ringside please

FYI, Nash became available at a bunch of stores near me yesterday(Southern California). There must have been more product shipped out.
