they need to extend passed the 15th to the 16th. We collectors with kids get our child tax credit each month now on the 15th. I've already backed this and yes i realize they don't charge you now, but some people need to see the cash in their accounts before they hit yes! Lol yes I’m certain that’s what the intention was for the stimulus checks. Anyways, I think people need to forget about the idea of them throwing another ultimate in just to get it to 5000. That’s completely insane and honestly unreasonable to request at this point. The value is worth it as it is. I love you. |

I am one that hopes they DONT extend the Macho "early bird" special. That should stay as an exclusive to those that backed it early. However, someone mentioned above about a Bret ultimate repaint as a final push to the 5k! That should be an easy and much cheaper way to get this done. The early backers get it all. The hitman can be simple and could be all plastic like the first (Don't even need three heads or jacket IMO) I think if they were to extend macho it should be to the first 5000 backers. |

There’s no doubt in my mind that the early bird gets extended to the first 5000 backers. I wouldn’t bank on it and order by Friday but with the momentum it’s gotten the last couple days they’re gonna wanna keep it going. Can you imagine how salty some people will be if they extend macho? |

They can be salty all they want, but I don't see this making it to 5K unless it either a) hits 5K before the early bird is up or b) they decide to extend the early bird until the 22nd. This thing definitely has momentum and I think there's an outside chance it could hit the 5K before tomorrow night. |

I feel like if it hits 5k over the weekend/very early next week, we'll see another surge. I think some people have the mindset of "this won't happen so I'm not gonna bother backing" and also "I only want this if there's a chance at Doink". So once both of those things are more realistic, I think we get another surge.

I agree with those saying extend the macho package. I think extending the macho package deal will get this to 5k and put us closer to Doink. If they would consider dropping Doink to 6k and this thing get to 5k by say, next Monday (assuming they extend macho) I think we might see another surge that gets us to 6k and gets Doink. All depending on if they bump Doink tier goal down and leave macho as a added bonus till the end.

I don’t think any of us would really care. Who is it hurting for a couple thousand more to be able to get it? Of course some will complain but it’s baseless. And i think a vast majority of us would prefer Mattel do whatever it takes to get to that finish line. We’d much rather let those procrastinators get macho than Mattel be sticklers and no one gets it. |
