I think we may get close to 4K tomorrow.
After that I think we will get another 500-1000 before the campaign ends and Mattel will extend the deadline two weeks and it’ll ultimately reach the goal. The extra time gets us enough to where they can throw in doink before the last deadline which will end up pushing it to around 6k

Diesel, Macho, and Doink will never be made if not backed according to Steve. Most of is assumed they would eventually be released, not the case now. ofcourse he has to say that to try to get this funded.. lol.. even tho it may be true which it very well could be.. but i would say to counter that, this thread is evidence Doink and Macho Man would sell on there own. |

Considering how much they want to make it to Doink, no way are they going to sell it to backers for anything less than $50. I don’t think mattel would be scummy enough to charge the people who loyally backed this almost double what the figure would cost at retail. I don't think it would be a scummy move at all... if anything, it's trying to give the customer/backers what they want: if it reaches 5K but not 7K - and the only way Mattel could make Doink was for an extra $50, I think a lot of backers would go for it. eg. after the time is up, give backers the option of paying another $50 for Doink - and say if at least 2.5K (for example) go for it, then he can go into production. |

I don’t think anyone will honestly give a damn if we get the tiers. For me Doink is one of the best parts about this set so I'd be disappointed not getting him. Others probably feel the same way. I like all of it but Doink looks like the best figure in this set by a wide margin in my eyes. Diesel seems like an Elite with a sub-par head sculpt. I don't own a Diesel, though, so I'm hoping this gets backed. Savage may be better than Doink, but we haven't seen an actual image, so we'll see. |

Steve Ozer just went live on Instagram and showed off the stage and answered questions. Seems like it gave this set a nice push. About 50 additional backers since he went live about 45 minutes ago.

Also look at the rest of the UEs, all of them are former World Champions and main event stars, there is a reason for that don't ya think. |

Doink is never going to get a wide release in the Ultimate line. He may be popular on this thread, but a $30 Doink will rot on the pegs harder than his 2 elites. I think this is your last chance to get a Doink figure unless they straight rerelease one of the previous Elites.
This Diesel will never get an Ultimate. Maybe they’ll go with a different attire, but I think the only Ultimate we’ll get is Kevin Nash from Bash at the Beach ‘96 or a similar nWo Nash.

I would hope if it does come to a crawl they’ll add macho man back or something. But I think people who did do the early bird order would feel cheated if they added it back after the expired date I don’t think anyone will honestly give a damn if we get the tiers. If it doesn’t make it, highly doubt we would get Macho or Diesel again in these attires. At least as Ultimates. Definitely not this Doink.

I honestly think the days of Finn Balors and Shinsuke Nakamuras in the Ultimate line are over. Even Ronda Rousey was dying on the pegs at every Target I went to. I think it’s only A-list main eventers from here on out. We’re already getting a second Hogan, HBK, and Triple H Ultimate. We got a second Cena and Rock. |

Just ordered my fourth after watching the live video on Instagram. This time I had to use Klarna, that is a very useful app since they don't accept Discover.
Wish Steve could have answered the questions about if Diesel could come with a belt. Would love to that figure MOC.
