If this reaches Doink, I'll regret not getting 5 rings lol. I just can't justify taking on debt after getting 4.
My biggest wish out of this is that we get these items earlier than expected, but I understand a year is normal to tool brand new items.

Since today is a big day, I'm going to try to check to see what the hourly backers are. So far:
8:23am EST -- 3,848
9:23am EST -- 3,929
Almost 100 on the hour this early feels pretty good. Let's see how it progresses!

Wrestling Megastore UK. He has an Insta page where you can let him know you want one. He is ordering today though to get the Macho Man deal. I don’t really understand the benefit to doing that? I’m U.K. and the shipping is crazy cheap…we’ll get taxed when it arrives I suppose and not sure how much but that will be the same for the guy doing this plus his profit? Not knocking it, I want as many to back as possible and I want U.K. stores to do well and get more stock to give us all greater access to figures but for this that you can just get direct from Mattel with such great shipping costs, not quite sure why you wouldn’t just buy it direct? Anyway…whatever gets us that clown! #ReleaseTheClown |

Anyone else feel like the ringskirts are a possibility too? Once this actually hits 5k and we know it will 100% be made... If Macho is still around for a few hours. it should explode...

Getting to Doink will be hard but it is a possibility if this gets backed before the Macho deadline. As for the ring skirts I'm doubtful but don't mind if they aren't included. |

I think getting Doink means we need to hit 6k by dinner time EST today. That's probably ambitious, but not ruling it out.
If we surge close to Doink territory, I'm planning to buy another 2-3 sets. 3 limited UE figures alone should come close to covering the cost of the bundle, if not more.

There's definitely a snowball effect if/when items come close to a tier incentive. There will be people who were on the fence who jump in if they see another tier added, or folks who are who buy additional sets if it looks like there's more resale value being added. If we get there, I think you'll see numbers jumping a lot faster right around 5k, and the same thing from 6k to 7k. |

Pivoting to add Macho absolutely saved this project. Without that, we're probably still somewhere around 2k right now and most people have given up on this project. Steve, Bill, and Rob all deserve major credit for doing more appearances on podcasts, IG live, etc than I can remember them doing in an entire year normally. I'm far from Mattel's biggest fan, but these guys really went above and beyond to make this happen. |
