No update on mine since 26th August when it looks like it left Belgium to come to the UK. I used Parcelsapp dot com to track mine Oh wow, if you live in the UK and yours hasn't left Belgium yet what chance do I have. Mine allegedly left Belgium a week ago. From my past experiences US to Bahrain is much faster than this Amazon 2-3 days expedite, 3-8 priority Ringside 2-3 days UPS, 14 FedEx saver, 21 usps 1st class Wwe shop 8 days standard shipping.

I haven’t received any details of the customs charge in the post yet, so I think tomorrow is my last chance before the weekend since we’ve got the two days of strikes after that; if not tomorrow then I can’t see having either of mine in hand until next week - a bit ridiculous in this day and age that I know that there’s a customs charge to pay but I’m waiting for snail mail to tell me how to pay the damn charge before they can get the thing delivered. They will have spent over a week just sat in the sorting office due to this.

May I ask why they came up with the idea of not sealing the Ultimate Edition figures Diesel & Doink? Why no tape? The Ultimate Edition packaging has already been designed in such a way that collectors who want to open the figures do not have to destroy or damage the packaging. Two three strips of tape wouldn't have changed anything. Now all Ultimates are practically not recognizable whether they have already been detached from the packaging or not. Actually you can only be 100% sure that the figures are new if the whole shipper is sealed. With Doink maybe the plastic holders on the legs, but that's it.

Because that's not the tracking number, for some quite stupid reason Mattel Creations don't put the tracking number in the email when they email you to say its been shipped, you have to contact them via their contact information to ask for it, all in all bloody stupid in my opinion. My email had a tracking number in it. But I’m in America. International orders don't get the same treatment for some unknown reason.

Just show up at the depot and say you've got a parcel with a customs fee, they'll be able to search it on the system as you should have the tracking number. That's what I did last Saturday.

My guess is that because the purpose of the tape on individual UE figures is to show tampering since they sit on the shelf alone, they decided it was not a need with this since the figures are sealed in a box and not sitting out individually. And while you may laugh, not having the tape did save a fraction of money on this project, so they probably cut it to add budget elsewhere.

Getting kind of annoyed that my order has been stuck at Label creation for 4 days now with zero movement. Happy it's finally got a tracking, but this is killing me.

It’s mad that overseas orders don’t get tracking - even when ordering from ‘the other site’ you get tracking on items from the US.
Also, if it’s true that people are getting £60+ custom charges, PER ARENA, this will be a real sting for people who backed, even more so for those who ordered multiple. It’s going to put people off backing future crowd funds or at least put people off ordering multiples which we know was key to this one getting made at all.

I can't help but picture a Belgian customs officer playing with hundreds of New Gen arenas.

Only uk collectors had to pay customs due to brexit, european collectors didnt pay anything because Mattel imports its products in Belgium.

Paid both the customs charges today, including the extra £12 for Mattel splitting one order into two packages, but the first date they offered for delivery was the 13th of this month - I guess because of the strikes over the next couple of days but still frustrating.

An Irish member here posted that they were charged as well, so even sensible countries are getting hit with them But this was always likely to be the case - customs is something that we outside the US always have to expect, but what we didn't expect was the extra charge that comes from Mattel splitting-up a single order into individual packages, attracting £12 'handling' charges per package
