Had my Parcel force letter for the £63 customs charge, which sucks, but on the plus side, my arena arrives tomorrow. Cannot wait to release the clown.

I’m going by my inability to fit it into a very specific area where the Other ring just barely fits. I’m tempted to bust it out and try again, but I’ll have to wait until the other ring sells. Either way unless there are different models I’m pretty sure the one that I have is bigger. I don’t remember which model it is, but it’s not the original. Are you talking about the Mattel Main Event ring with the light-up apron? Because the Elite Scale Ring was made in 2011 and uses the mould the Wicked Cool Toys Authentic Scale Ring is based off. The ESR snd ASR are a smidge over 22”x22”. The Main Event Ring (in Raw and Smackdown flavors) is roughly 20”x20”. Yes that’s the one actually. It does (did) light up. |

I just received my 2nd set. I had to pay customs on this one, but not the 1st. I'm glad about that because it was £63. Just waiting on these Macho's now... Interesting... I think that's the first I've heard about someone NOT being charged. I live in hope, lol 🤞 |

RELEASE THE GODDAMN MACHO MAN HELL YEAH I GOT MOTHER  ING TRACKING Are you sure it’s Macho and not some other thing you ordered? I received no email and I never bought anything else from Mattel Creations. A lot of people have been posting for weeks they got Macho tracking and it’s some other thing they ordered. I just want to know how excited I should be. it’s either Macho or NHB. only two things I have that will be coming from Mattel besides UE Cody but of course that’ll be next year. No email yet but I checked my FedEx app and had a tracking from them. I got so excited I just thought of Macho and forgot NHB lol |

The new gen ring is the smallest scale ring ever made (I'm not counting the mainevent ring because I chose to believe that it never existed) No, the Jakks Real Scale Ring is. It’s about 20”x20”. I know it was advertised as 22”x22”, but that was a lie. It was Jakks Pacific. They were wrong about a lot of things. I placed them next to each other and placed the ultimate ring over the rsr, the new gen is about a rice grain bigger. |

No, the Jakks Real Scale Ring is. It’s about 20”x20”. I know it was advertised as 22”x22”, but that was a lie. It was Jakks Pacific. They were wrong about a lot of things. I placed them next to each other and placed the ultimate ring over the rsr, the new gen is about a rice grain bigger. I trusted Steve’s claim that the ring was 21.5”x21.5”. I broke put the tape measure just now and it’s 20.75”x20.75”. Practically the same size as the Jakks ring. |

The tension of the ropes caused the frame of my ring to snap, the back right post will no longer stay in place in its own. Until I find a more aesthetically pleasing solution I just tied it with a small peice of rope and its holding it. I bought it third party so definitely not sending it to them for them to send it to Mattel creation for me to never get one back more than likely. Also something I plan to keep forever not sell so I can eat this I guess. Just thought the crowdfund was gunna be super high quality.  |

Perhaps I'm wrong, but when the previous poster complained about the size of the ring, i actually thought they were saying it was too big in terms of height, not width?
Is this ring particularly tall? |

I know people are talking about this set like it's the rarest thing in the world, but there's gonna be thousands of them sitting up in a warehouse somewhere to account for lost parcels, broken pieces, etc. so definitely make your voice heard sooner than later. This was an expensive set and that's not acceptable. My Jakks Real Scale Ring is sitting in an attic for a decade with the ropes on it (albeit they've loosened over time) and it's been thrown around a little, and it's still fine. Your brand new ring shouldn't break like that. I wouldn't be happy.
Get the order number/customer number/whatever off the fella you bought it off and see can Mattel do anything for you.

My set has just arrived and it's absolutely fantastic. I'm in love with the Doink figure, tbh. It's probably a bit of recency bias, but it's up there with the best figures in my collection.
I wasn't overly fussed about Diesel but the screaming head really sets it off.
Brilliant work by the Mattel guys, super excited for Macho now.

Received a Parcelforce ransom letter today so paid the £63.50 and it'll be delivered tomorrow. After over a year of waiting it'll finally be here. I never even bothered to ask Mattel for the tracking information. It'll get here when it gets here. Unless it goes to Gambia for some odd reason.

Is this ring particularly tall? From what pictures I can find, the real ring seems to come up to Mankind’s waist, but the toy ring seems to come up to Bret Hart’s lower back. So if it is taller that it should be, it’s a minuscule amount. All my other rings are boxed up so I have nothing to compare directly to, though. But personally, I’ll take a tad too tall over the Main Event ring being way too short any day. And the width and length is smaller than the Elite/Authentic Scale Ring which is a plus. |

I instinctively assumed that the other chap meant the top rope height. I never even thought about the height of the canvas/ring base. |

I instinctively assumed that the other chap meant the top rope height. I never even thought about the height of the canvas/ring base. Yeah, I’m talking about the height of the ring skirt area. Someone already posted a picture a couple weeks ago comparing the posts of the ESR, ASR, snd this ring. This ring appears to have the same posts as the ESR, but the hoops the turnbuckle hooks onto seem to be a few millimeters higher than the ESR posts. |

I finally finished putting my ring together last night. It took a lot of extra time as I was swapping the turnbuckle pads from the Jakks RSR as well as a couple of ring skirts.
I had a hell of a time with the skirts. The posts are hard to remove and feel like they could break. The elastic on the Jakks skirts is inconsistent so they don’t always fit over the post either.
I like the idea of the boards on the ring but they make the ring feel very unstable when moving it around. Overall it looks nice but there are a handful of things that I would have liked to have seen changed prior to the release.
Speaking of….any updates on Macho? I feel terrible for the guy I sold my figures to because he has been waiting for weeks now to get his stuff.
