If people are getting screwed over by international shipping to the point they have to get a refund, maybe Mattel will reproduce the ring to sell on Mattel Creations. Maybe a Golden Era one since it’s pretty much identical save for the ring skirts. A refund is fine on a retail product, but for a limited edition crowd-funding project? I’d be gutted. It’s not like, “I’ll just pick it up on Amazon.” I remember how it felt realizing I had gotten into collecting after Mattel’s first scale ring had dried up at retail and the few that were on the secondary market were hundreds of dollars. I still feel gutted missing out on all the Jakks scale rings after the first one. I'm pretty appalled that they took and sat on my money for a whole year and they don't have enough replacements at this early point to cover losses for international customers. Not even a voucher or a discount for my next purchase with MC. I get it isn't their fault someone stole it, but "you'll get refunded in the next week" isn't exactly a happy ending. For the moment I'm out the $265 I paid for the ring and the £63.50 in customs fees. Parcel Force aren't exactly fast to respond so it'll be a while before I get that back. I will feel very sorry for anyone who only ordered one who this happens to.

Anyone in the UK managed to call Mattel? What number did you use? The international number on their site doesn't actually work! No responses to emails, a number that doesn't exist...to hell with this next time. Did you put the international dialling code to the front of the number ?. I ended up calling the US number...well at least they confirmed my second arena is now in the UK with customs...and one of my Machos is on the way. I complained to her that no one replies to emails and that they should include tracking info directly to the customer when shipped, and she confirmed they are currently looking into revamping their systems to allow customers to get this detail. I'm sorry to the person that has had theirs stolen/lost. What a sad ending to over a years wait.

Sadly after contacting Mattel they informed me that there are no replacements available and they'll be refunding me for the set that didn't arrive. On the bright side I guess I get a refund for what didn't arrive and should still get the Macho Man tied to that order. Did they pay you interest for a year of holding your money with producing the product? Seems thats the least they could do

Parcel Force are obligated to refund customs charges for parcels they don’t deliver.

Still no tracking info and still no sign of the ring. Contacted Mattel directly through Twitter and they couldn't help either Rang them twice - no help Mailed 8 timed - no help.
Utterly disgusting customer service.
Is anyone else in same boat?

The entire process is crap, you get an email for shipping but don't get tracking unless you ask for it. The customer service is non existent. Landmark Global doesn't ship direct to the UK, they send it to Belgium and in my case to Gambia from Belgium and then to the UK, why this is done is unknown to me. Then you've a customs fee and charge on top to pay too. Once bitten, twice shy comes to mind.

No movement on my Machos yet but I now have 3 separate tracking numbers in my FedEx account issued within the past 2 days. All have the same dimensions and all 3 weigh 2 lbs so now I'm starting to wonder if they are shipping all mine separately?

I know this is really lazy, but could someone post the number for Mattel please? Another UK order stuck in Gambia (one piece only) so going to be very disappointed. Also going to be great fun trying to get a refund to an alternative card as the one I ordered with the account is shut down! Over a year wait for no product, gutted.
