I really wish they'd moved the goalpost for Doink down to at most 6K. 7K still seems too far out of reach.

WMX Macho shoulda been offered from the start. Diesel and Doink aren’t gonna get enough people interested. Warrior from KOTR96 or the Raw segment with Lawler also shoulda been done. Those are your two biggest legends sellers.

I really wish they'd moved the goalpost for Doink down to at most 6K. 7K still seems too far out of reach. Agreed, but not only will this ensure more people preorder, but good chances this added value entices people who have already preordered to buy multiples. You could probably end up selling just the commentator booth/accessories online for $100. People are more likely to pay a premium for what they do want. They may not be able to justify the $250 for everything, but they would be willing to drop $100 just for that Macho Man figure or the neon entrance stage. |

Great addition. I’m now back on the fence. This is literally pretty much what I’ve been suggesting to add the value. I said Doink and the ring skirts almost get it to $250 value in my opinion. Now you’re getting an additional figure and announce table, with the unlikely but possible addition of Doink and the skirts too.
I’m gonna have to think about it some more. I may back this now.

This put me over the edge. Going to back this and cross my clown fingers that this added value helps this thing take off.
The value is already there, but just imagine if this somehow got to the tier to unlock Doink? That is a ridiculous haul for $250. I think a lot of people on the fence may now be considering the same thing.

I’d like to Think that if they group in Doink (& the ring skirts or make the an unlockable feature) that not okay will this get the 5k but might even make it to the initial goal to unlock Doink at 7k. If not it would be very close at least.
Seems like the more they can offer up front, the more they can get backed.

I could give a turkey about the Ring and the like. Those figures would be the selling point for me. Do I want those figures and have to deal with the potential hassle of selling a ring to go along with it? Or do I just buy the figures in a year when certain people decide to sell? Decisions decisions. I probably have to go sell a couple cards if I want it, but do I want it?

IF we get Doink backed, I could legitimately see everyone who backs 2 of these sets to get everything here for free, plus a near $800-1000 profit margin. 3 Ultimates that are approximately 1 of 7000 - easily 200-300 each. Macho moreso due to his massive popularity. Ring 300-400 Stage 200-300 Commentary stuff 50-100 Even if you're conservative 200 + 200 + 200 (Figs) + 300 (Ring) + Stage (200) + Commentary stuff (100) = $1200 (on a $500 investment) + all this cool exclusive stuff. |

This is a really good interview with Steve and Robert. Beyond talking about the Macho, they really go into the nitty-gritty of the set and stage/it's value/etc. Honestly, this is the kind of info that should have been out there from the start.
