I did wonder the same thing, a big backer who would back 1000. But then it occurred to me, thatβs $250k (quarter Million). That is some serious cash lol. Iβm sure a place like Ringside could just about justify something like that. Not many average joes will want to part with 250k for a year and go through the sort of hassle that selling a thousand of them would bring. You must also keep in mind that such items must be stored. The ring packaging won't be small. This is an immense cost.

I think Mattel has another idea on getting this thing backed. I think a lot of people want to see this Macho Man made internally and they're willing to make this a reality. I would be surprised if Mattel didn't throw Doink in in the next week. People want Doink! I could care less about the ring skirts, honestly. I do not really understand the logic of making Macho Man the "early bird" exclusive. Why would people back it after that window and not get *maybe* the coolest part of the set? Why not just add it for everyone to have? I understand they wanted a big rush right away but it seems like its going to lock up the end of the crowdfunding duration. That's another reason why I think they will add Doink. This might not mean anything, but typically Steve Ozer will reply to my questions in Instagram. When I asked him if they have considered adding Doink at a lower tier or even into the 5k backer level, I did not get any interaction with the question. I don't mean to suggest that they're keeping it quiet and end up doing it. Just take it for what it is. I donβt think itβll make that big of a difference but I can see ring skirts thrown in before Doink. I personally would want them over Doink anyway. I hate the WW skirts and would never display the ring as is. I would, however, display a WM or IYH ring.

For those who have backed already, what is the charge after tax and/or shipping?

For those who have backed already, what is the charge after tax and/or shipping? My total for 2 was $537.37; $6.95 for shipping and the rest tax.

For those who have backed already, what is the charge after tax and/or shipping? For me in NY. I got to the checkout page before they wouldnβt take my card and it was about $278 total

For those who have backed already, what is the charge after tax and/or shipping? With tax, which I have to pay when it arrives, I pay $325-$330 per ring π₯΄ Everyone who orders from Europe will have to pay roughly this amount.

Just ran straight through checkout up to the point I'd put my card in. My total would be $256.95 if I took the standard shipping option because I live in a beautiful, sales tax-free state.

I hope we get a big backer that buys 1000 of these before Friday. Iβve backed 3 of these and plan on backing 2 more.....and yes Iβm scalping the hell out of 4 of them on EBay. Lol Great job and youβre definitely not a scalper lol But youβll easily get your money back just with the Macho Man figures in my humble opinion.

They probably need to talk with Pixel Dan and other toy collecting influencers that donβt just cover wrestling. People who listen to the Major Bros and shows like that probably already know about this. They need to reach an audience outside the wrestling fig community.

Pixel Dan tweeting about it was actually how I first saw it. So heβs at the very least aware of it. Maybe we should contact some toy YouTubers ourselves and see if theyβll plug it? I legitimately feel like part of the problem atm is people actively being unaware of this campaign as Mattel hasnβt done a great job of spreading the word beyond the hardcore wrestling figure base. It should be on wwe.com and their social channels at the very least

Just canβt see how this gets made if itβs not at 5k by Friday (Macho deadline) - would anyone likely to back this do it after missing out on Macho? Surely not? 2,775 by Friday to get made at allβ¦.4,775 by Friday to get Doinkβ¦just canβt see it. i agree , but yet , on this forum people think not adding Macho for the duration was a good idea... lol

It should be on wwe.com and their social channels at the very least I can't imagine very many people who don't already know about this would buy it. People who are in the market for a highly collectible wrestling item at this price point are people who are passionate about wrestling/wrestling toys/toys. I think it is silly that WWE wouldn't spend their time at least tweeting once about it, but I don't think it would do much. If you're willing to spend the money on this set, you follow Mattel on social media, you listen to a toy podcast, follow figure news or you're on this forum.

This definitely needs better advertisement to people who aren't in the loop but are still interested in collecting.

Mattel puts polls there and all sorts of people get to vote....so why is this not getting the same exposure?
