Needs to be updated with Macho and commentary table and chairs though. But at least there is something.

I typed in wwe.com on my phone and there is no mention of this ring anywhere. It may be on the site but it's not advertised for all to see. This should at least have a permanent advertisement on their front page until the crowd fund ends.

Pictures from its reveal aren’t quite plugging it. Should be linked and updated with Macho.

they need to get better pictures of everything included. The main picture should be more flashy and big. Also include Macho & the table.

Pixel Dan tweeting about it was actually how I first saw it. So he’s at the very least aware of it. Maybe we should contact some toy YouTubers ourselves and see if they’ll plug it? I legitimately feel like part of the problem atm is people actively being unaware of this campaign as Mattel hasn’t done a great job of spreading the word beyond the hardcore wrestling figure base. It should be on wwe.com and their social channels at the very least I can't imagine very many people who don't already know about this would buy it. People who are in the market for a highly collectible wrestling item at this price point are people who are passionate about wrestling/wrestling toys/toys. I think it is silly that WWE wouldn't spend their time at least tweeting once about it, but I don't think it would do much. If you're willing to spend the money on this set, you follow Mattel on social media, you listen to a toy podcast, follow figure news or you're on this forum. I got into Jakks’ Ruthless Aggression figures because I went to RSC on a whim, saw the Real Scale Ring existed, and promptly bought it and then a few figures to fill it with. So I can imagine someone stumbling upon this crowdfunding, thinking it looks cool, and backing it. It was scale rings that got me into this mess as an adult. There are probably others out there.

There's definitely a part of me that wonders, in the grand scheme of all their financial moving parts (especially lately) how concerned WWE really is with whether or not this is seen to completion or not.
Does Disney routinely plug the HasLab projects for the Star Wars and Marvel licenses? Projects of this magnitude are new to me, so I genuinely haven't followed one this closely before.

If Mattel Creations want banner ads on wwe.com or a mention on Raw and SD then they’re going to have to pay for it. Just because Mattel licenses their product doesn’t mean WWE is going to give them free advertising.

Wwe doesn’t make anything extra over this crowdfunding project. Mattel only pays for the wwe license. It’s Mattel’s bottom line that gets affected by sales and wwe doesn’t really care.

Who's to say they don't make a certain percentage of money on figure sales? Also it's very easy for them to take 10 seconds out of the show and mention it without a sponsor add.

Didn't Steve (or someone) say somewhere that with the package as is, they'd still be in the red on this project if it got funded with the bare minimum of 5,000 backers? The minimum outside cash this can come to fruition with is $1,250,000. Even assuming that part of the overhead includes monies owed to WWE, how much are we guessing that WWE stands to even make off of that to warrant the use of any of their valuable goodwill toward the project?
Given the trajectory to date, the time left to realize the goal, and the inferences that are able to be drawn thus far, I'm guessing this means next to nothing over in Stamford.

I did wonder the same thing, a big backer who would back 1000. But then it occurred to me, that’s $250k (quarter Million). That is some serious cash lol. I’m sure a place like Ringside could just about justify something like that. Not many average joes will want to part with 250k for a year and go through the sort of hassle that selling a thousand of them would bring. Gotta be better ways (with bigger margins) to invest that sort of cash. Especially considering it’s tied up for 12 months and no real ROI guarantee. Wish they would, but I just don’t see it.

Backed it this morning. Maybe if it gets close enough, some of the larger collectors will push it over the edge…
Or maybe Ringside will front it and piece it out for a profit…

If WWE didn’t care, then they should keep their nose out of who Mattel makes. If Mattel pays them all this money, they should be able to make whoever they want

I'm not understanding the people buying multiple sets just to resell mentality. I know everyone wants what everyone cant have but this isn't the bs like Ultimate Sarge that sold out in a minute. Many people are choosing not buy this for multiple reasons. If they are not going to buy it at 250 with a month to buy it, why might you think they will buy it at 400 for example. That said I hope someone buys 4500 plus sets so I can get the Doink.

That an average Joe might have 250k to put down for a year on wrestling toys but they just wouldn’t want to.

Part of me wants this to succeed, but the other part of me is very unhappy about the terrible distribution of the target exclusive legends.

Mattel sort of shot themselves in the foot by making Macho an "early bird" exclusive. The problem now is that if this doesnt break 5000 by Friday its pretty much dead in the water. No one is going to buy in after that point knowing they won't get Savage while others did.
